The menu had a lot of clear labeling and displayed a lot of good options for diverse dietary needs. It was slightly quirky to locate because it is on the corner of what looked like a government building. We ultimately found it though and it was very worth it. Despite coming in when it was slightly slower everyone who was there on 4:00 on a Sunday seemed to be having a great time. The samosa was beautifully seasoned and had an ideal contrast of textures. The pastry was crispy but the filling was light and fluffy for the potato. I am writing this while I am still in the restaurant but I have every confidence in the butter chicken I ordered as well. Would recommend. 😁 EDIT: confidence deserved. Butter Chicken was amazing. Very generous portion. I could not finish everything.

A fantastic addition to the Durham restaurant scene! They have an extensive menu that includes many South Indian regional specialties. Everything was delicious and it was fun to try dishes I haven’t seen on other menus. Lots of vegetarian options. Biryani was awesome.

Our family was craving some Indian food while visiting for a show at DPAC. This place is within walking distance, but after our amazing meal we would have driven out of the way to eat here again. The food was incredible and the staff was very helpful making recommendations for our family. We had chicken biryani, methi malai paneer and fish masala. The butter Naan was very tasty and we were also served crispy chips with onion chutney and we were surprised by the chef at the end with some mango malai ice cream which was AMAZING. This restaurant just opened but you would never know. We will absolutely be back again.

We stopped by for dinner today. We were promptly seated. Service is friendly and prompt. The food is delicious! I especially love their Manchurian Paneer. I also ordered the Fish Varuval and Egg Kothu Paratha. Very good. We can't wait to come back and taste other dishes in the menu. I love South Indian food and this place is a great addition to the downtown area! They have an extensive vegan/vegetarian menu as well as some "exotic" meats like quail, rabbitz and venison.

So happy they’ve come to Durham!! The perfect place for phenomenal, comforting, tasty food. Everything was fresh, spiced well and hot! The flavors they put into their takes on classic are incredible. The hospitality by Ohm and his team was exceptional and the decor is a great tribute to Indian art and culture.
