I typically don’t do reviews, but I had to share my thoughts about this place. I absolutely love being a member at Beem in Durham and cannot say enough good things about the studio or the staff.
The sauna rooms, bathrooms, showers, and red-light room are always spotless and incredibly clean. All of the staff members are WONDERFUL, highly professional, and make it such a pleasant, top-tier self care experience.
If you are looking for a self care, treat yourself experience, I highly recommend Beem in Durham. If you’re on the fence or want to try it, give them a call because they often do promos or deals. You really get the most value by being a member, so if you see yourself going on a consistent basis and making it part of your self care routine, I would consider it.

New location, great setup and the mint infused towel was a nice touch. Some improvements needed based on other infrared saunas I’ve used as follows:
1. Body wash, shampoo in shower needs to be attached to shower wall
2. Need a chair for changing clothes in shower
3. Inside temp in sauna limited to 150F, needs to at least go to 165F
4. Since shower not attached to all saunas, need slippers to walk from one to other so not walking on bare feet
These improvements would make Beem even better and would be the difference in staying long term. Thx for listening!

If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend. The staff there were incredibly kind, you get a tour of the facility, and amazing deals for your first visit. If you do the infrared sauna, you can choose a private room or bring a friend for a social sauna. They even have an iPad with streaming apps or ambient music available for the 40-minute sauna session. I will definitely be returning. :)

It's so clean and bright in reception areas as well as the bathrooms. The private saunas are truly private, comfortable, and clean. The staff are very kind, responsive, and accommodating. They do events like member appreciation days where they provide fresh flowers for you to make yourself a bouquet! I absolutely love the red light therapy. The infrared saunas have chromatherapy as well. They provide you with fresh towels and an iPad for shows/movies/music while you're in the sauna. I didn't realize how much tension I was carrying in my body until after that first session. I highly recommend checking beem out!

So many great things about this sauna studio! I have been there several times and the service is consistently impressive. The owners and managers are dedicated to excellence and are super friendly. The staff members are very kind, attentive, and positive. The saunas are way better than the ones at other local sauna/wellness studios because they have Bluetooth speakers and an iPad to keep you entertained with Netflix in order to pass the time. Everything is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between use.
There is sufficient space to stretch out unlike other local sauna rooms. The robes and slippers as you transition from spa to red light are also a nice touch. I'm so glad I learned about this place and that it's close enough to me to see how much I benefit from frequent treatments, especially since their subscription packages are a better deal than other wellness spas. Try it out!
