Nice Restaurant/bar. Food was very good. $$ 1/2. (Given inflation). The hamburger was made to order, with whole ingredients. Fries were interesting, too salty for my taste but overall good. Sweet Tea was super sweet. Service was very good. Partners Lamb wrap was excellent. Coffee was adequate. Recommend this place for your next meal. 4 stars.

The food was delicious but our waiter had a tremendous attitude problem. He acted mad the whole time. Not one smile. Anything we asked for was like a burden to him. It should have been a festive day because many people in there with small groups for Christmas parties. Would ask for a different waiter if i went again

Had a delicious meal. All 5 guests had impeccable entree and dessert plate presentations and the food quality was high. Only draw back, we were consistently rushed to place orders. W empty tables on a Thursday evening .We had to put Anthony our waiter "On Hold" a few times. We were w family we hadn't seen in 3 years. But we still managed to exit within the two hour owner requested window.
*Also we were charged $5 for a basket of bread containing 5 pieces. A bit desperate for extra revenue.
at $70 pp, I would like our next visit, not to be so hurried

Excellent classy 5 star restaurant. The food has always been first class! That's why I continue to go back. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. If you haven't experienced it, you should go. You won't be disappointed.

Finally tried this place for weekday lunch and was very satisfied. The dip assortment was great, with each of the 4 dips actually being good. Spicy mussels with chorizo was tasty. My lamb burger was big and juicy (loved the beet spread in it), and the wife's salmon over orzo was delicious. I would love to come back and try their dinner offerings.

We have not been back to Bleu Olive in quite some time and were surprised to see that the menu was much smaller, with fewer choices. The food we ordered was all very good; we just wish there were more choices. The setting is quite nice but it was noisy.

We had an exceptional dining experience with Bleu Olive in their private room to celebrate after our elopement ceremony. The food was excellent as always and the service made us feel special and welcome. It was so nice to be tucked away from the rest of the restaurant while still having attentive service for our large party. It was a memorable dinner!

One of our favorite spots in Durham. Octopus and calamari appetizers are delicious, probably on our top 3 in this area. Partner really enjoyed the lamb burger and the paella was also great. The lemon creme brûlée was fantastic, perfect amount of lemon and sugar caramelization. Will be back soon!

Ordered to go, food was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Within walking distance from my hotel. I plan on returning hoping to dine in next time.

It was my first time exploring Bleu Olive in Durham, North Carolina, and I fell in love with the food. The service staff recommended the octopus dish, and they were absolutely right. I also chose the lamb, and it was the best decision I ever made—I ate every piece on the plate. The flavors were outstanding.
However, the service was not as impressive. I felt uneasy with the server's attitude; he was a bit too Almighty. It might have been partly my hearing issue, but I believe that good customer service should make you feel welcomed. Despite this, the night wasn't bad overall. The server gave a great recommendation for the octopus, and I left a good tip.
