Bull City Ciderworks crafts gluten-free hard ciders made with 100 percent apple juice and no high fructose corn syrup. Falling somewhere between wine and beer, the ciders incorporate flavors from honey, black tea, hops, ginger, tart cherries, bacon, candy corn and hibiscus to create unique ciders different from any other on the market. Try a cider from their core menu, like Sweet Carolina infused with local honey, for a taste of the South.
This venue has a wide selection of ciders and beer on tap. It's very informal with some not quite new furniture and a selection of games. There's even an arcade room with pool table.
Live music on some Friday nights. The band we heard was good and played a variety of music, but they were very loud for my old ears, even though they were playing outdoors.
Try the Cardinal Cin (apple cinnamon) or blueberry lemon cider. Tasty!

The bartenders were so nice and helpful here! There's plenty of seating both indoors and outside and there are often food trucks and events going on. Overall one of the better experiences I've had at a brewery/ciderworks in the area. Will definitely be back to try more flavors! The Cheerwine and orange and cream were both delightful and it was nice that they had some beers on tap for my friend who doesn't like cider but agreed to come with me.

Five stars for this fantastic Hard Cider Taproom! My experience here was nothing short of amazing. The seasonal brews were a delightful treat, perfectly complemented by the rustic-chic decor. The outdoor seating added a wonderful touch to the overall ambiance.
The music was spot on, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. However, the real highlight of my visit was Ariel, the bartender extraordinaire! Their expertise and friendly demeanor made the experience truly exceptional. I'll definitely be returning for more refreshing brews and top-notch service!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, really nice selection of drinks in particular the dry cider rhize up. Staff were amazing, really lovely, Ariel and Courtney served and looked after us, asking how we were doing. They also had really good chemistry working together which was clear to see which made the atmosphere even better. Really loved this place, highly highly recommend!

Loved this place! Such a good environment to meet with your friends and have fun. Also I really enjoyed the variety of ciders, I usually go for something else but I loved them. Moreover, I really appreciate that there's a lot of space to sit. The satff was very polite and helpful if needed. We liked very much Ariel, very attentive and patient. Definietly recommending this place

One of the best atmospheres in Durham. I moved here, did not know a soul, and have made some of the best friends I’ve ever had in my life thanks to this establishment. The staff is wonderful, and I always feel like I belong. They know a ton of the patrons by name making it a very comforting environment. The ciders are fantastic, and for those who aren’t as inclined to ciders, there are plenty of other drinks like pilsners, ipas and cocktails.
