"Brewed until surreal," Asheville's Dssolvr opened a taproom in Durham in 2023. Here, you'll find a range of beer styles, including lagers, English ales, IPAs, sours and more. The dog-friendly taproom hosts regular events and is decorated with psychedelic, alien-themed art. Located in Durham’s Warehouse District, there’s plenty to do nearby.
DSSOLVR Durham has good vibes and is a dog-friendly brewery with tasty beer and fun decor. They raised money for the employees in the Asheville location due to the flood, so are good people.

Amazing experience! I was looking for GF beers and was surprised to see their wide variety of choices. Bartender recommended the PB & Jelly Engine and it was mind blowing! Coming back to get some cans!

DSSOLVR is my all time favorite bar/brewery in durham. They have something for everyone, beer, seltzer, GF sours, wine, cocktails, hard juice, hard soda; it’s amazing. Perfectly lighted, never too loud, always clean, and the bartenders are always SO nice and fun. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Street parking right out in front. We're from out of town and wish we loved closer because there seemed to be a lot of cool events that happen all the time. Some examples include Paint Your Pint Glass and Book Club.
They don't have flights but they do provide half pours and let us do some tasters. My husband and I tried the Bleu moon with an orange and the Spaghetti About it which is a beer cocktail. They also have plenty of non alcoholic options and also other options such as wine and seltzers and cocktails.
They had some chips up front but didn't see any other food options. I absolutely love how dog friendly this was. They have water, dog treats and dog toys for them. Dogs are allowed inside which was great.
We liked the beer and beer cocktail we selected. At first my beer seemed to have a sour note but it ended up being pretty easy to drink and quite refreshing. The spaghetti about it was kind of like a beer aperol Spritz.
Definitely recommend coming here, plenty of seating inside and there are board games and some seating outside with some board games!

Every time I've been to DSSOLVR has been great, and it makes the trip from Raleigh worth it. The bartenders are so welcoming, and they have some really bizarre offerings like a tomato-mayo hard juice or a PB&J sour that are just fun to try and keeps things interesting. They've got some killer $5 Friday night pours that can't be beat for value, and nothing is bad on the menu. They've even started doing jello shots, spritzes and cocktails for the non-beer drinkers in the group. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely legit. Many amazing drinks that taste fantastic! The bar staff here is phenomenal, and there is copious amounts of seating both inside and outside. Great bike parking outside and good parking around. Most likely the next big downtown location of durham!
EDIT: Still awesome! They have some weekly events on the calendar, and drinks are changing all the time! Some of the best bar staff in Durham!

Really enjoyed this new spot! The space is super open and they have large tables to accommodate bigger groups. We brought a card game with us, but they have some there for patrons to use too. We went on a Friday night and they had a DJ playing vinyl, which had such a cool feel. The staff were all super accommodating & welcoming! My only issue is that they close super early (last call on Friday was 10:30), which I get with being a new space in the bar scene, but would have stayed for several more hours if we could have.
