I LOVE this place. They are newish- I think not quite a year in business. The owners and staff and very friendly and knowledgeable- and you may be lucky enough to see their bar dog, Oliver. The back patio is spacious and comfy, and the food truck is incredible. My favorites are the barbecue bao buns and soup dumplings.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Ann, the bartender, was so sweet. The atmosphere was amazing! The food was off the charts! I can’t rave more about trying this place. The fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese was unbelievable and the fries were the perfect amount of crisp.
We will be back!

Such a fun place with such fun vibes - and tons of open, interesting space! The cocktails here are excellent too, I had a wonderful summery Manhattan and margarita. There are SO many spaces here to hang out, indoor and out. It’s just a fun afternoon and evening beer palace, and I am so glad we have a new addition to the already world-class Durham beer and cocktail scene.

Durham Beer Garden is the best addition to Durham in a long time. It’s so much bigger than it looks with a nice deck outback and shaded tables along the side.
The service is always fast and friendly. It is clearly a labor of love for the owners. The beer selection in the cases is varied. The food is a combination of classic bar food and Asian items. Everything is delicious.
Love this place. 10/10.

Great new joint in downtown Durham! Good selection of beers and other beverages. LOTS of indoor and outdoor space. Easy to find a tv to watch if you're there for the game.
The bartenders were nice and helpful. It was a busy Saturday afternoon and the energy was great. Good crowd. Dog and kid friendly.

Such a great Durham addition! Ever found yourself complaining about the lack of places to watch sports (indoors AND outdoors)? The Durham Beer Garden has answered our prayers! Tons of outdoor space, a great deck, lots of indoor and outdoor TVs. Large draft list and good bar food. And really nice staff! We will be coming here a lot :)

Great atmosphere, nice outside seating in front and huge porch and patio out back. Great beer selection both on tap and cans/bottles in the fridge with good Non-Alcoholic options as well.
Tons of TVs for sports and food is available as well.
This place is sure to be a neighborhood favorite soon!

Tons of beer options, super friendly staff, and some really good bites! Such a wonderful place to spend an evening at, love all the little details that went into the design of the space!
