The Durham Food Hall, specifically Everything Bagels and Liturgy Beverage for a caffeine fix, is an obvious choice for those exploring the Durham Farmers' Market on a lovely Saturday morning, but also is hopping all times and days of the week. Check their event schedule for monthly and quarterly programming. Durham Food Hall is open all day for dining, drinks, celebrations, meetings, a quiet place to work or a quick bite on the go. My partner and I tried some different items from the durham food hall. We both had entrees from patty boy, a double patty smash burger, and an offer of chicken tenders with a side of tater tots and buffalo sauce. I also had bao buns with corner yaki. While i didn’t get a pic of it, we also had fruit teas with milk lab.
The smash burger was delectable, i think due to it being a smash burger you gotta go with the double. This burger taste like a big mac and idk why that is but this feels like their love child. every bite was delicious. a bit of a messy burger but i wouldn’t have it any other way. The chicken tenders were crispy and had a nice crunch, wirh a nice layer of fat to give you a truly respectable tender. it was seasoned well and a must have. the buffalo sauce was more on the spectrum of vinegar based so it was a little tangy and sour, think of Texas pete, tabasco in consistency. Prices were about what you can expect from a food hall but rest assured these items will not disappoint.
On the other hand, corner yaki disappointed with these pork belly kimchi bao buns. for ten dollars you get two. The pork belly was just disappointing. It wasn’t crispy, and i can understand that but the fatty lining was rubbery and hard to chew. I had to peel it off unfortunately. the actual taste of the pork belly wasn’t bad but pork can be tricky. It just didn’t stand out flavor wise. the kimchi was fine, right balance between acidity and flavor. i can see the vision for this plate. A beautiful blend between savory acidity and sweetness from the kewpie mayo. But it just drops the ball here. I think maybe if the pork was made crisper, or even a tad bit thicker, it would work better. Id pay two extra dollars if it meant higher quality pork belly. i’m hoping it wasn’t a true reflection of this one item. i’m still looking forward to ordering from here as their menu is varied and full of different flavors.
Milk lab is a must when being here, i had a mango fruit tea that was blended and it just hit the spot. be warned, this place stays busy so I would recommend getting a drink first and ordering food second. Unfortunately it was just one person behind the counter so we had to wait longer than usual however the order came out perfect, hoping they can get some staff in to ease the burden of order taking/making. shoutout to the staff.

A delightful fresh tasting experience. Have 5 areas of variety, all expertise in their field. Especially one all fresh NC seafood that's cooked fresh , like oysters on half shell ! Another is Pizza villa, another Indian bistro, Everything bagels. Upstairs is drinks and a bakery. You won't go hungry! Oh, wooden chairs and bench seating.

Lots of options. Lots of seating. Great place. The only thing to note is that if you go at certain times, parking can be a little challenging. Nonetheless, overall, really good place and highly recommend.

The atmosphere is perfect. Simple downtown spot that has something for everyone and plenty of places to sit. Not too crowded even on a weekend. Will definitely be back to try more vendors!

We had a wonderful time here! So many options and there was something for everyone! The Napoli pizza, tater tots and Mexican were delicious! I forgot to get pictures of the Mexican food because by the time it came, we were starving ! Lots and lots of vegetarian options! Overall, five stars for everything from the quality and variety of the food and the other amenities… Lots of free parking in the area, especially over the weekends.

Loved the options available. If I were a local I think I’d still have trouble picking what to eat!
My fiancée and I dropped in while passing through, and had coffee, bubble tea, crunchwraps, and bao buns — a little taste of a few of their spots. Though next time I’ll be looking at the Indian food and Burger joint (if I can resist those crunchwraps) 👌
The place was very clean, had many guests enjoying lunch but didn’t feel overcrowded, and even had an upstairs for private events. We saw they host other community events as well! Very cool spot — can’t wait to pass through again (and we will be sure to)!
