The menu transcends ordinary coffee shop bites, offering entrees like a cornmeal waffle with brûléed seasonal fruit, crispy pancetta and whipped mascarpone cream; Reuben and BLT sandwiches on Union Special bread, and homemade pastries, such as seasonal scones. There are also seasonal drinks like lattes and lemonades and, of course, tea and coffee from local roasting partner, Jubala. Fare & Fellow Café will be opening up a second location in the NC Mutual Building downtown at 411 W. Chapel Hill St.

What a great lunch with my daughter! We had the gem salad with chicken and GF avocado toast. Both were very fresh and also delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We also had an iced spiced pumpkin latte with oat milk and an iced orange cardamom latte with oat milk. Again both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was awesome. We sat outside. It was a nice cool breeze, and my dog came with us and enjoyed herself as well with getting lots of attention of her own. We then had a nice little stroll around the area before we left. We will definitely be going back!

Fare & Fellow is my go-to spot for getting work done in a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The space is thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of room to focus, with a welcoming vibe that makes it easy to settle in for a productive session. Coffee is good and the food is also a pleasant surprise for a coffee shop—definitely above average. I recently had their English muffin breakfast sandwich, and while the quality was excellent, the 'English muffin' was closer to a focaccia bread, which was a bit of a letdown. It was quite oily and lacked the texture of a traditional English muffin. I would have preferred something less greasy, but that’s a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. The side tomato arugula salad was a great touch. Overall, it's still my favorite spot for breakfast and work!

The place is clean, well lit, airy and open. Seating is tight, as in not large tables but good enough. The waiters/waitress/batista were all kind, helpful and cheerful. The food was surprisingly better. 5 star food with low cost. The red smoothie bowl is crazy delicious and worthy of being a top RTP meatless breakfast option. 10/10. The coffee drinks also seem good. I only had a lavender latte which was just sweet enough for a black coffee drinker, 8/10. Don't let the office area fool you this is a honest to goodness café and restaurant.

Surprising Experience. In a good way.
Coffee - amazing!
Food - amazing!
I like Espresso, and I was quite pleased with what they made. For lunch, I had a turkey and pear sandwich. It was fabulous. I would’ve never thought to put pears on a sandwich, but it was such a cool choice!
When searching the area for a brunch/lunch place where I could sit and work for a few hours, I found this place because it looks good. I did not expect it to be in the center of a courtyard, but that just adds to its cool factor. Just know that if you’re looking for it for the first time, it’s admin businesses and other buildings in the center with a couple different parking lot options.
The atmosphere is really cool and the music was not too loud. Plenty of seating options and space. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
I highly recommend and will go back myself.

Best cafe ever! I can't say enough good things. Coffee and food were both amazing - the breakfast sammie was literally the best I've ever had. The rosemary lavender latte was SO good, lavender is my go-to flavor so I've had a ton, and the rosemary was a perfect complementary touch! Just the right sweetness, too.
The vibes are perfect for remote work being in an office park, with outdoor seating in a cute courtyard and plenty of indoor seating. There's also signs to the cafe since it's such a big office park. I also just love the little touches they added to make a great experience, like the free water dispenser and cute cups and dishware! Can't wait to come back 😊

I don't usually leave reviews, but I loved this shop so much that I had to leave one! You can tell that the owners, staff, and chefs care about what they create here and ensure everything that comes out is quality food and drink. Did I mention that the food is sourced locally throughout the Triangle region of North Carolina? Like, holy smokes, you can tell a difference.
The baristas also serve up some stellar latte art, which always makes the drink tastier! If you are a fan of sweet coffee drinks, the syrups they have on hand are homemade!! I got the iced vanilla oat milk latte, and I swear it tastes like cereal milk; I wasn't able to get a picture because I drank it so fast but I will get another one next time for sure!
I also had the Reuben sandwich, which has now been deemed the best Reuben I've ever had! The sauerkraut is homemade and infused with duck fat, and the rye bread was so fresh (which is also from Union Special Bread in Raleigh)!
100/10!
