Pound for pound, Favors claims to be the best bakery in town. Favor Desserts was established in July 2004 in Durham, North Carolina by Master Baker Keijuane Hester and continues to serve the Triangle area and beyond. While offering traditional baker's products, they are most well known for red velvet cupcakes, 5-flavored pound cake, carrot cake and Italian creme cake, just to name a few.

I just left Favor Desserts 2-18-2025…this was my 1st time going there walking in the 1st thing I look at is customer service especially when you spending $8.00 for a slice of cake. Customer service was average they were not eager to help, no smiling. I purchased lemon and red velvet it was good but I won’t be going back. Customer service 2 stars. Cake tastes 4 stars. and also for me eating the cake with a fork was challenging I needed a spoon.

The cake (oreo) was good!! Went here to get a slice for someone birthday and was told that the cupcakes are $2 on Wednesday. So me and the kids were back and racked up!!! The smell of the shop needs to be put into a bottle and be sold for $5.99 😋.

I picked up some cupcakes for a surprise birthday celebration. The service was excellent and the cupcakes were delicious and beautiful! Definitely will be returning for the cakes and cupcakes in the future! Excellent!

Yall ought to be ashamed of yourselves! Just because you're at the airport terminal doesn't mean you get to be ridiculous with your prices. Taste ain't bad, BUT NOT worth 9$/slice! Even my co-workers agree- and apparently I was overcharged. Your employee & I talked about the 9$ price only for him to charge me 10$/slice smh. Paying 9$/slice and the slice us crumpled up in the too-small container? I know not! I saw 5.25$ & thought no way, only to realize that was for the cupcakes. Then i saw it...9$ for a slice of cake... absurd. I bought to bixes of cake mix & 2 cans of frosting for cheaper than that! Y'all really need to evaluate the business model!

I'm particular about red velvet cake, and theirs is awesome!! Moist and the frosting is good too! I'm usually a cupcake person, so I've tried all flavors over the years. Other than the parking being tight sometimes, this is my recommended cake spot in the area.
