This Ninth Street brewery looks to build a community around beer. In addition to brewing their own, the taproom has 24 taps from breweries all over North Carolina. Sip on a pint in the beer garden, nicknamed "Bullvaria," out back with a friend. You can even bring your dog.

Mixed meal from our end. Pros - the food was really tasty as were the drinks. The El Toro was fantastic, flavorful. We just shared the dip trio and the hush puppies. Anyone looking to eat here - the hush puppies are HUGE! Far bigger than expected. All of the dips, especially the pimento cheese, were quite flavorful, a good heat on both the hummus and the pimento. Cons - service. I don’t know if the wait staff was distracted or because I think there was a tasting tour in, but we seemed forgotten. Drinks didn’t come out until well into the apps, the apps were slow and by the time it got to us the beer cheese was cooled and starting to thicken up. There were few visits from the waitstaff as well. Overall, would probably go somewhere else next time.

This is a great little saloon with craft beer. They don’t serve food, but it’s a good place to just sit and drink beer while you enjoy the shops on this street.

Blake stands out as one of the truly great service oriented person in a world of bad customer service. He knows his menu, he's incredibly friendly and unique. I very much enjoyed my time here. Give Blake a raise.

Awesome taproom (and former on site nano brewery) for the excellent Flying Bull brewing. They have a wide array of Durham made beers as well as guest beers. There’s a nice patio out back and a few tables inside. This is the place to have a couple of beers on a nice day or while waiting for a table nearby!

We stopped at the Flying Bull after the Duke game. They have a really cozy outdoor dining/lounge area with fire pits at each table, which is where we sat. Everything we had was delicious…..roasted cauliflower, wings, salad, and wine. Service was spot on as well. We also heard the couple behind us commenting on how amazing the food was. We will definitely be back!!
