This new flagship location for Flying Bull Beer Company is a short walk to the Durham Food Hall and Durham Central Park, right in the center of it all. Order off the Bull Bites and Besitos menus and check out the in-house brewery, or take your drinks outside.
The food was beyond spectacular. We enjoyed the small plate deviled eggs and beer cheese and chorizo empanadas. Ive already made plans to come back tomorrow with my parents because this place is off the charts.

I visited this place today and really liked it. The staff was very polite and attentive. They quickly brought the menu and helped us choose drinks and food based on photos from social media.
I ordered the Chicken Shawarma. Personally, I would have preferred it in Armenian lavash to make it more like the Shawarma I’ve had in many other countries—lavash really makes a difference. For some reason, the Shawarma was quite messy, with a lot of sauce leaking from the bottom. Even the packaging leaked, and the whole plate was covered in sauce. But this didn’t ruin the dish at all; it’s just a small observation and a recommendation.
My friend ordered the Salmon Large Plate, and he loved it. The salmon was smoky and very flavorful. He also liked it very much!
We also got the Dip Trio and Truffle Fries.
The Dip Trio was surprisingly unique with interesting sauces and tasty pretzels and pitas.
The Truffle Fries had a rich truffle flavor and were topped with cheese.
For drinks, I had a lager beer (I can’t remember the exact name, but the waiter helped me pick it), and my friend had pineapple juice.
The restaurant's interior is really nice. Stylish tableware, lots of details, and the staff, including the waiters and bartender, all had matching uniforms.
Overall, we enjoyed everything and will definitely be coming back.

Here’s what we got at dinner:
Sparkling Rose & Seeing Red cocktail - both were delicious!
Pretzel Bites are on point… perfectly fried and fluffy soft on the inside!
Chicken Shawarma wrap… so flavorful! A little messy to eat but very tasty.
The Cuban… perfectly toasty and delicious.
Bowl of Loaded Fries… great shareable size and the fries stayed crunchy with the loaded cheese!
Overall great dinner for a nice night out!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, came in on a Sunday today in need of a filling meal and got so much more. Great service, live jazz band, and delicious food to munch on. I got the wings, flavored honey garlic sambal and they were out of this world, as well as some truffle fries which I ate so fast I forgot to take a picture. For dessert I treated myself to a cocktail, the Bullseye which is a raspberry refreshing drink. Beautiful restaurant, bar and brewery. Will definitely be back!! Probably tomorrow -

We had such a fun time with the Grand Opening of the Flying Bull Restaurant& Brewery !! The food was really good and the drinks were great! I got the Pomegranate Hard Cider and my husband got the Mackinaw Peach Beer. So Good! We ordered wings, grilled chicken sanwich, spicy chicken sandwich, and the Cuban sandwich. Great food and a great atmosphere!!! Definitely will be back!
