Fullsteam makes "distinctively Southern beer," often partnering with other local businesses and sourcing their ingredients from nearby farms or local foragers. Brews like Carver, a sweet potato lager, and Biscuit, nominated for a Good Food Award, show what these folks are all about. I hosted an event for 130 people at Boxyard and could not have been more pleasedwith the results. Ari was such a great help and making sure everything was planned seamlessly. We got great feedback on the space, the service, and most of all the food. The food was absolutely delicious and had tons of variety. I can only recommend Ari and team for your next team event!

The restaurant was clean. Great customer service. Variety of drinks, alcohol & nonalcoholic. The salads are good but the pizza is flavorless. Big disappointment. It was like eating melting cheese on toasted cardboard. 2 bites and I was done. The sauce was very bland. It looked so good but tasted ugh. It was 3 in my party, none of us cared for it. It was a 60-90 minute wait Saturday so I drove back during the week, just to try the pizza. I wasted 30 minutes driving there and another 30 minutes home.

The atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff were awesome. Beers are great, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a burger with some mac and cheese, but little did I know that it comes basically in a liquid sea of cheese for the macaroni. It's definitely a go-to spot, especially if you are bar hopping.

Recently visited Boxyard at 900 Park Offices Dr in Research Triangle Park, and it was a fantastic experience! The space has a great mix of eateries all in one block, along with live music that really sets the vibe. Our team spent time at Fullsteam, where they offer a wide variety of beers, and I particularly loved their Italian Pilsner. For my non-alcoholic friend, they had standout options that made the experience enjoyable for everyone.
The food options were just as impressive, especially the pizza selection. My personal favorite was the mushroom pizza – it was absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a fun, laid-back spot to hang out with friends or have a team outing, I highly recommend Boxyard. Our team had a blast, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

In a word, their pizza is magnificent!
In 2 words, it's magnificent and expensive!
BUT, it's not overpriced considering you pay at minimum $10 at the pizza chains (if you use a deal - otherwise menu price is a lot more) for vastly inferior pizza (chain pizza isn't bad, but fullsteam is MUCH better).
One thing I love about the pizza is how solid it is. When you pick up a piece of fullsteam pizza, you don't need to support the entire slice to keep it from flopping over and all the toppings sliding off. The bottom is crispy and firm. Heck, I got an uncut pizza from them yesterday, sliced up a third of it for dinner, and today, I was able to pick up the remaining 2/3rds pizza with one hand holding it in the corner. That's a solid 🤬 pizza 👍
I won't be here every week, but I will absolutely be back!

Best pizza and beer in NC, a little bit expensive for my budget but no regrets, one of the best pizza I have ever tried!

We spent some time at Boxyard on a Saturday and decided to have Fullsteam’s pizza as an early dinner. Spent around $30 on a whole pizza, which is incredibly expensive — especially for what we got. The pizza is made with sourdough starter, which results in a fluffy base and slightly crisp crust. We got the Forager (sweet onion, green onion, mushrooms, roasted garlic base), and the toppings were few and far between. I questioned whether there were actually any mushrooms on the pizza. Either the cheese or pizza itself was also quite greasy. All in all, underwhelming and definitely not close to being worth $30. For around $40, we can get two pies from a pizzeria in downtown Durham and have enough leftover pizza for another meal. If you want to spend money at Boxyard, I’d suggest skipping food and buying the outrageously expensive drinks, instead.
EDITED TO ADD: I paid cash for this meal, so this is not about getting a refund. This is just an honest opinion on the experience and food we had.
