We love Happy + Hale!! The food is excellent, fresh, and priced correctly. Thank you for being one of our favorite spots to pick up a quick, reliable and healthy meal. Excited to try more of their menu. So far our favorites are the Med Bowl, Bueno Bowl and the new Hot Honey Chicken bowl. Highly recommend this place!

Happy + Hale is one of my favorite spots for a fantastic lunch! The Buena Bowl is my go-to—it’s packed with amazing flavors and a punch of goodness that never disappoints. Occasionally, I branch out and try other items on the menu, and I’m always impressed by the quality and taste. The service is consistently excellent, with a friendly and welcoming staff that makes every visit enjoyable. Whether you’re looking for something fresh, healthy, or just downright delicious, Happy + Hale delivers every time!

I can’t believe I’ve never left a review here- but Happy + Hale is one of our favorite spots in Durham! It’s such a filling and healthy meal- and sometimes it’s even enough for two meals for me with leftovers! I usually create my own bowl, and it’s so delicious and fresh! (See photo for my go-to order!) We love sitting on this patio when the weather is nice too. I also love their smoothies and drinks!

Good food. relatively quick service. Lots of parking. Decent price. Overall a very positive experience. I recommend the salads though the Acai Bowl can sometimes be frozen.

My first time visiting and what a great experience! The gentleman that greeted us gave us a great intro to their menu and ensured almost any dish could be altered for allergies or preference like the two bowls we chose for being GF and sounding and tasting delicious! We had the Coco Curry and Chimi Steak Bowls, both filling, flavorful, and more than enough for a serving! Thank you for such a great experience and lunch, we’ll definitely be back!

The food here is amazing! I love the protein bowl and have enjoyed it every time. The employees are nice and quick. The restaurant is clean and friendly and there is great outdoor seating. My only complaint is the price of the food. The portion seems small for ~$13. I understand rent is probably really expensive plus the fresh ingredients but cheaper prices would make this place more attractive to eat at regularly.

Great healthy spot with fresh, clean ingredients and reasonable prices. I love getting the custom bowl and the green happy water (5 calories per serving). Great for a quick bite or take out.
