This Golden Belt taproom has 8,844 square feet of interior space, as well as a 1,678 square-foot outdoor covered patio and beer garden. Hi-Wire is big on games and activities, with full-sized shuffleboard courts, soccer pool tables, ping pong and more, and the bar’s 24 taps feature year-round, seasonal, specialty, sour, and one-offs, as well as wine, local cider and guest taps from neighboring breweries.
Hi-Wire in itself is excellent! There are just too many kids running around without parental supervision. Takes some of the fun out of going to a brewery on a cool night to relax with some brews. This is, unfortunately, a common thing at most breweries. Some are more daycares than others.

This whole group of businesses is a great redevelopment of a former textile factory. Hi-Wire takes centre stage! A huge indoor space with a great choice of beers, and friendly staff. Ask for a sample if you’re not sure.
The adjacent pizza company offers online orders and free delivery. Ping pong and other games are free, so great for entertaining children during daytime hours.
The huge murals add colour, and large screens are perfect for sports fans. I highly recommend this brewery.

GREAT venue, love this place for many reason but tops for a celebration with work colleagues. Submitted and an online reservation for two tables as I was planning to bring a large group. Upon arrival, tables clearly marked, staff was terrific, helped with setting up a drink tab for our group. Had pizza delivered from next door and I brought in a sheet cake - can't get much better than that - beer - pizza - cake - everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you Hi-Wire staff!

Huge space with tons of seating, variety of beers, and ample parking. It's the perfect spot to meet up and hang out. There's plenty of games like ping pong for activities while you guzzle down some brews. Bartenders are friendly and efficient too. Just perfect!!

I love everything about Hi-Wire-Durham!! So many beers on tap and there is seating both indoors and outdoors. There are great food options outside the brewery - with nearby restaurants and food trucks. They also have frequent events too! And, John Michael is a great bartender…very pleasant and attentive, offering excellent service! A consistently great experience!

Had a fantastic experience at Hi-Wire Brewing! Tanner, the bartender, provided top-notch service with a friendly and knowledgeable demeanor. Katy is always so friendly and plans great events! The variety of craft beers was impressive, and the ambiance was perfect for a laid-back evening. I highly recommend trying their lo-pitch. Cheers!
