You might think this is a biased review since I’m the pastor, but let me share a few things about Immanuel Baptist Church. I’ve been here for eight months, but even before I became the pastor, I found the people to be incredibly kind and welcoming. Now that I know them better, I can confidently say they extend that same warmth to everyone who walks through the doors.
One of the things that stood out to me early on was the church’s deep commitment to prayer. I had heard that the people here valued prayer, and I’ve seen it firsthand. Many times, I’ve witnessed members pausing in the hallways to pray for someone in need. In other places, I’ve often heard, “I’ll pray for you,” only for the moment to pass. Here, they don’t just say it—they actually stop and pray.
Our worship leader and other church leaders are intentional about ensuring that Sunday morning services remain focused on worshiping God. I appreciate the praise and worship team for leading us in heartfelt worship through song. In my preaching, I focus on expository sermons, working through books of the Bible, and striving to balance teachings from both the Old and New Testaments.
As a parent, I also value the church’s commitment to safety. The child check-in system provides peace of mind, ensuring my child is in a secure environment. Before releasing children after Sunday school, they verify pick-up slips, which I greatly appreciate.

I can feel the Holy Spirit moving in this place! It’s amazing to feel the Spirit move and I just want more. Come and hear the truth preached from the Holy Bible and sing praises to the Lord and feel the Holy Spirit more around you and inside you! Amazing what the Lord has done in my life. Thank you Lord!

Long time member here. What I love about Immanuel is that you can feel the love of God from the members. The Holy Spirit is moving here and being a member has helped me learn what it means to walk with Christ and the importance of building a relationship with Him. I enjoy the atmosphere and I am very involved with the Children's ministry. I love all of the children that enter our church and I am so excited to watch their growth and them develop their relationship with Him. Our pastor team is awesome and you can see their genuine love of Christ and their desire to further the kingdom by providing biblical teachings.

We all want the best for our families. I'll search for the best dentist or school for my kids. Well, in the search for a church, I've found their Sunday sermons to be the best I've heard. If you haven't at least visited, we highly recommend it!

You may think this is a biased review because I’m the pastor. However, let me tell you a few things about this church. I have been at Immanuel Baptist Church for eight months but when I was visiting the church before becoming pastor I found everyone kind and welcoming. Now that I know everyone better I can attest that they are not just welcoming to me and my family but to everyone who walks through the doors.
I had heard that the people in this church were people who valued prayer and I’ve seen that firsthand. Many times I have seen members take time in the hallways to pray for someone. Often at other churches, I’ve heard people say “I will pray for you” then they walk away. Here they actually pray for you.
The worship leader and other leaders take great care to make sure that the Sunday morning service is focused on worshiping God. I enjoy the praise and worship team and appreciate them leading the congregation in worship through song. I preach expository sermons as we work through books of the Bible and I try to alternate between New and Old Testament when possible.
I am very safety conscious so I appreciate the child checkin system they use before my child goes to the Sunday school classes and making sure to review the pick up slip before releasing her to my wife or I.
