What an amazing breakfast! The staff were super sweet and very helpful. The food was all incredible, whatever the tapenade was that came with the fried green tomatoes, it was spectacular. The only hard thing was choosing, that's ok, we will have to go back!

My Family and I are visiting the Durham area from Massachusetts. We were looking for a nice restaurant with authentic southern cuisine. Well my gosh, did we find it! This place was absolutely amazing. I had the pan seared salmon and it was to die for! It was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had in my 35 years of living. The staff was very friendly and was more than happy to answer our questions. I highly recommend the Fried Green Tomatoes!! So good, next time we are in the area, we'll be back for sure!

Had a great lunch here midweek. The food and service was excellent. I had the Pete’s sandwich!! Also quite amazed by the selection of bourbons…one of the best I’ve seen in the area!!!

Everything about this place is phenomenal. Went to the one downtown so we decided to check out this location, and its an instant hit with us. 1st ample parking and a nice location. Nice ambiance, good music selection, clean on inside for brunch experience, and has a beautiful view. Food review: The fried green are crazy, had to order some to go! Waffle ball are alright especially when paired with the whipped honeybutter. I got country chichen w/gravy. The potatoes are crazy and im not even a potato guy tbh. Wife got smoothered and covered it was good. We obviously had to get togo boxes but everything was amazing. Got fried green tomatoes togo as well. Arnold palmers was good, wifes tea was flavorful. Signture cocktail was good. Star of the show was our server Chris with the beard. He was fast, friendly, and super efficient. Definitely asking for him when i come back. Check it out.

I ordered my go-to at any brunch spot, chicken and waffles. On my lunch break so I ate it in my car but this is one if those places where the food taste better if you take a seat and enjoy it dining in and soak in the beauty of southern barbecue. Very clean appearance. The guy who served me was enthusiastic and attentive and the food got to me in a relatively quick 10 minutes. Now I am not the easiest to please when it comes to my chicken and waffles and after eating their spin on chicken and waffles while it was amusing to have balls have waffle paired with bite sized fried chicken it wasnt impressing me with the flavor, and frankly the ball of dough isnt a waffle and didnt really taste like one. However its still felt worth the price as it also comes with a side which I chose home fries and those were well seasoned and a fair serving. Im definitely going to come again and try some barbecue.

Food is deliciously cooked to perfection (and your liking) and comes out in a short amount of time. Drinks are excellent. Atmosphere is great. The table settings are spacious. The bar is welcoming and the restaurant is always clean.

We googled for a new brunch place to try so visited today and were impressed. Emily was an outstanding server and we chatted up why the 15% tip requirement. Sadly too many people not tipping at all. We did the extra 5%, it was well deserved.
I had the Smothered and Covered to try a taste of some sausage gravy. Superb. I commented to Emily that too many "sausage gravy" offerings leave out the sausage. This eastern NC boy is well versed with this breakfast staple and I enjoyed it, every bite.
The wife was into her Garden Omelet, also enjoyed.
Add this place to our brunch rotation. We will be back and suggest you give it a try as well.

THIRD TIME IS A CHARM! And just like that I think I found my new favorite restaurant! We try something new every time. We tried catfish this time. It was outstanding along with everything else was outstanding!
UPDATE!! We went back Today and the service went from 2 to 5. Our server was Alana and she is top tier. We ordered different foods today. The hot yaki wings, the patty melt burger, Mac n cheese, side salad and kids chicken bites with fries. Food is still amazing! Love the atmosphere. This place is perfect!!
The food here is an absolute 10! Everything is well seasoned to perfection! We ordered the Honey Bourbon BBQ Wings (smoked) and I could have easily eaten them as the meal. The Steak burger with gravy, mashed potatoes and crispy Brussels sprouts. This was like a home cooked meal and grandma's house. The Jalapeno Fried Chicken sandwich with fries. This was classic delicious sandwich but not too much spice so if you have a low spice tolerance you can handle this. My ONLY complaint was that our server, CJ, kept getting missing. Now she is respectful but She was missing for so long I got concerned that something happened to her however the kitchen has a window and she was just standing there on her phone. I had to ask another server to ask her to please bring us the check and we still had to wait while we watched her on the phone. But even that couldn't lower rating. This place is a jewel!

Date night with the hubby. He has been craving fried catfish. This did not disappoint! The fish was crispy and well seasoned. It is served over red beans and rice. So good!

We have tried the downtown location and was happy to have one closer to home, we were greeted promptly by the Hostess and seated immediately. Our server Alannah was very friendly and attentive. I like the water that they bring to the table and leave it for you. I ordered the Wade's Pork nachos which were ok but I could have done without the cheddar cheese sauce as it got cold, it kinda congealed and not very appealing. My daughter ordered the burger on Texas toast but the toast became soggy so she only ate the top with her burger. My husband had the hamburger steak plate with Mashed potatoes and green beans. We were checked on several times by the server and a gentleman who appeared to be in management. We will be back to try other menu options.

Excellent food and exceptional people. The pulled pork was just like home, and all the sides were incredibly fresh. The garlic green beans were delicious, and we already have our next meals picked out! Will and Dave were awesome, highly attentive, and made the dining experience fun and enjoyable. Really glad this opened up near us!
