Great convenient location for Duke Campus and sports venues. Lobby lounge serves delicious food, especially the salmon. Comfortable rooms and friendly service throughout the hotel. Looking forward to going back.

Beautiful modern hotel. Very friendly desk staff and room service. Clean rooms and facilitiees. Quality soaps.
Stayed their last year as part of my surprise marriage proposal. The hotel new of my plans and put free chocolate strawberries in the room as a surprise. Nice touch!
Went back this year for another Duke game and to relive the fun of getting engaged.
We stayed in a corner king suite. Spacious room. Bed was comfortable. Pillows sucked (too poofy) but that's normal in hotels.
HVAC unit was extremely loud and had a huge vent opening that blew cold air near the desk (unseasonably warm December night). An improved HVAC opening or unit would be more on par with the overall quality of the hotel.
Chicken sandwich room service was delicious. Ordered 2 eggs for breakfast that were scrambled to order with only egg whites. Promptly delivered by upbeat, friendly servers.
We also ate in the restaurant by the large fireplace. Service is somewhat slow but it's the same solid quality food that's available at room service. We got the hummus. Delicious.
My fiancee took advantage of the small gym. Decent equipment.
EXTREMELY convenient if you're attending any sports event at Duke. They validate parking at a garage that's about 50 yards from the hotel.
Overall vibe is wonderful. I look forward to my next stay at JB Duke Hotel.

This is a nice hotel. I stayed here one night for business. Upon arrival I thought to myself “this place is huge”. I think that is the attraction of this hotel. If you need a place for a large group or for an event near Duke, this would be your hotel.
The staff were pleasant and professional. The room was clean. Everything was straight to the point. The Ac/heat unit was operable. This place didn’t wow me but it wasn’t disappointing neither and it was quiet with a view of trees in the back of the building.
Everything was pretty chill. Im not a fan of carpet in hotels and the rooms felt like mini dorms/apartments. The phone in my room only worked on speaker phone mode, I gave this a side eye and the hotel is definitely missing a pool. It looks like it should have one. But I really can’t complain.
I wouldn’t be in a rush to stay here again. I think I would want something a little more trendy with luxury but I would recommend others stay here if it suited the needs mentioned above.

It's one of the best hotels been to. Great food inside the hotel, and the bar is pretty good. They have some good IPAs on tap, and the food at the bar isn't bad. Convient for anything you're doing on Duke University, too.

I did not stay at the JB Duke Hotel but attended a conference there. The facilities were top-notch. The restaurant offered good food with a great, fresh selection for breakfast and lunch. The snacks and drinks provided during our breaks were plentiful. The staff was delightful!

Nice hotel. Was there for a conference. Courteous staff. Food in the restaurant was good. No microwave in the room but does have a small refrigerator. Pretty campus (Duke) to walk when you have time.

Went for a conference. The lobby has an open concept, high ceiling and very spacious. The did at the conference was good. The staff was nice and professional. The front of the hotel's road is different. It's almost like you don't want to drive in it. Great ambiance for a hotel right in campus. Too close to work for an overnight stay.

I absolutely love this hotel. It is one of my preferred locations to lodge or dine when in Durham. The staff solidified this during my initial visit - especially Raschaad and Chris at the front desk, as well as Mr. Doug and Mr. Bruce.
