As an old school/new school Korean sandwich joint, KoKyu’s Na’Mean is a great place to go if you’re looking for a flavorful bite in RTP. Originally, this restaurant started as a food truck by the name of KoKyu BBQ. As owner David “Flip” Filippini saw more and more success with the truck, he was able to open Na’Mean and begin serving these tasty sandwiches.

Staff were nice. In outdoor setting only, and on front of parking so it's annoying that car lights just blind us. Also they were making a racket on Friday evening trying to get a big commercial oven inside. The food took long to arrive, and it came in paper bags that were a waste of paper. The food was expensive for what we got, it was also somewhat cold. The meat was good in the fish taco and the baht mi (really spicy, bread tough). Overall, would not go again.

KoKyu has such an eclectic vibe to it that is just something you don’t see often around here! The menu items are so unique and great fusions of Asian cuisines and more.
We ordered the Nước Chấm Bánh Mì, Baht Mi, and the Grilled Chicken Bánh Mi. The sandwiches were packed with flavor and the meat was cooked well for all three. The bread was a bit hard, but everything else tasted fresh. They are not your typical bánh mì for sure! In my opinion, the prices are high for just a sandwich and a small side. Nonetheless, the sandwiches themselves are filling.
The Herbed Quinoa and Green Chickpeas was nothing like I’ve had before. It was in the acidic side, but that is what is expected!
When I went, the inside was closed and our only option was to sit outside or do take out. Luckily it was such a great day outside, and the staff constantly offered us water. Lovely lovely people! I definitely would like to try one of their sandwiches or bowls next time!

The staff gets 1000/100 they are all so nice and well versed with their menu. Weather was beautiful so outdoor seating ended up being perfect. You order by either scanning the QR code and paying online or the staff can take your order at the table. I hope to be in NC again just to eats here one more time.

I’ve heard amazing things about KoKyu and tried it for the first time and was slightly underwhelmed due to such high expectations. The fries were delicious and very well seasoned. I ordered the banh mi and wasn’t amazed as I have had better banh mi elsewhere. It was not bad per se but was not out of this world. The menu does have a good variety of other food items so perhaps I would have been amazed by some of their other menu items

This place is really interesting. It’s essentially takeout only, but you sit down outside and order from your phone. That being said, the service was excellent and extremely fast!
The Green Hot Chicken Philly was delicious. Remarkably spicy and reminded me of a classic Northeast chicken cheesesteak. My partner absolutely loved her Short Rib Bowl as well (Regrettably, we didn’t take the best photos so they do not do the food justice).
KoKyu also offers an excellent local beer selection and had really solid desert too! This will definitely be one of our new spots.

This place is one of my favorites in the Triangle 🔺️. The menu is so just so cool and I am a sucker for banh mi. The biggest issue is the price and location. The pricing is way too high for the amount of food for some of the dishes and the fact that you are essentially getting takeout. I would give Kokyu a higher score if they bring the price down.

I came late Sunday evening straight from RDU airport. My son recommended I eat here, and i was not disappointed. The food was a delightful fusion of Korean, Vietnamese, and American styles. KoKyu offers a fantastic dining experience with great service, a laid-back vibe, and delicious food.

I've been around the world, and honestly KoKyu has been one of the best lunch spots I've ever been to. The freshness and variety of food is amazing, and the servers info plus their encouragement to customize dishes was awesome. I got the elote/fried corn dip but added coriander chicken as well and it was to die for. They also gave us two free samples of watermelon lemonade and fresh horchata. Without a doubt we will be back, we can't wait to try more and support an amazing small business.

This place is pure euphoria!! The food options alone were enough excitement alone! The options were overwhelming, but in a good way. The food was full of flavor! The Ko’jangles fries are not pictured but they may have been the main attraction. I’m not even sure how they came up with that combination of flavor with the honey mustard but that one is pure genius.
The drink menu had an extensive list of good options as well. The two male servers were every bit as attentive as you could possible need. We even scored a little bin of extra berries from the farm they use. We left here on a bit of a cloud, full and taken care of.

Pretty good Korean bbq, got the steak and pork belly bowls with veggies instead or rice. Good flavor. Seems mostly like a takeout joint, outdoor seating but all the orders are given in a bag.

Been eating here for several years. After location change and COVID19 - They have changed quite a bit... mostly good changes (still a little sour about loosing my two favorite dishes). But one thing is for sure - the food is always GREAT tasting. The most common way to eat here is for take out - although they do have a few outdoor tables. Employees are nice and helpful- and they consistently get the order correct.
You can never go wrong with the burnt end nachos or any of the sandwiches. Their sweet potato fries are amazing. Well worth a try if you are in the neighborhood.

A go-to fast casual spot for us. Consistent quality and service. Amazing flavors and variety, something for everyone - love the concept. Note: no indoor dining, but there are some tables outdoors facing the parking lot. The greenery is a nice touch. If cold or rainy we will do takeout.
