I enjoy a low-key ambiance with great service and Angelica provided that exceedingly! The entire staff has been friendly also! Always a great selection so I can go among Hibachi Vegetables, Tofu, Salmon, Shrimp or Steak! I enjoy the Sesame Chicken and Beef with Broccoli also! Thank you and of course, my sisters and I will return!

I came here a few years ago and wasn't impressed. I decided to give them another shot and was happy I did!!! Their sushi is on point! I have also tried several other items on their menu and they also did not disappoint. I have made this a restaurant that I would suggest to friends regularly now.
I would recommend to the owners if its possible to make the outside look a little more inviting, since that is the reason people are scared to try it. But it's definitely worth it!!
The service is friendly and fast. The food is reasonably priced with good portions. The inside is very clean and even what you can see of the kitchen/sushi bar also looks clean.
Don't read a book by its cover!! Give them a try!

Food is delicious and hot. Cheap price compared to common degrees. Friendly owner and lovely staff. I have tried many Japanese restaurants and I think this place is great. I will come back.

I couldn’t believe how good it is. The best Chirashi Bowl I had ever had. My parents couldn’t stop saying everything was so delicious, and wish we could come back again. Highly recommended to sushi and udon lovers.

This is the type of place you would call “a great hole in the wall”. The food portions are big. The chef comes out to greet you once you are served. All the staff was so nice! It seems to be family owned. This was definitely authentic flavorful food. The prices are pretty fair. 100% recommended.🤩❤️🤩

Pluming Janpanese restaurant is a delightful spot! The sushi is fresh and the ambiance is charming. I particularly loved the tempura it was crispy and flavorful. Highly recommended 😍

I love this place, I've been coming here with my family for years. Having said that, there has been a noticeable decline lately. The owner seems unwilling to hire adequate staff. It's been the same amazing server and sushi chef, who always do a fantastic job. But they clearly are carrying the duties of what should be atleast 4-6 employees. When asked they are not hiring though. This makes the wait time ridiculously long. What used to take 15 min, now takes 50. Cutting costs just shifts the burden elsewhere. The server and sushi chef, again, are PHENOMENAL though, and kudos to the one guy in the BOH

Delicious food and great service at Koumi! The sushi was fresh, and the miso soup was tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, perfect for a casual dinner. Will definitely come back.
