Krill has been one of the most immaculate restaurants in Durham I have visited. Sadly I forgot to capture my entree. Staring off with some wings that I would describe as a light chicken with amazing crunch and fall of the bone hot. Along with some sauce that just complemented it perfectly. This was a culinary perfection an amazing way to start the evening while on the outdoor patio with great heating making it very comfortable to relax. Along with shishito peppers with some fish flake, a bit overpowering but still very good. For a relaxed drink I tried one of their mocktails which was a take on a horchata which had a unique taste that was surprisingly delicious. It seemed to be possibly soy something with a blueberry color and thick texture. Then for the main course I split the seafood pasta and short rib with coconut rice. The seafood pasta was sublime, with shrimp and scallops for the seafood with plentiful veggies and pasta. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and scallops melted in my mouth. Though they were a step down from how good the appetizers were they were still an exceptional course. The ribs also had an unexpected peanut sauce for those wondering. And the coconut rice was a creamy compliment to the ribs. And finally an also forgotten to capture food, the dessert. I split the coconut sorbet and chocolate torte. Both of which were immaculately out of this world if I had to put into words what they were I would say the chocolate torte was luxuriously thick and rich, with a velvety texture that melted effortlessly on the tongue. Its luscious flavor was perfectly complemented by a vibrant raspberry sauce, adding a tangy-sweet contrast to each indulgent bite. While the coconut sorbet was a refreshing counterpoint, its light and creamy texture balancing the torte’s richness. Delicately sweet with a tropical flair, it elevated the dessert with a cool, palate-cleansing finish.

The quiet ambience and nice decor inside create a great dining experience. Service is fast and very friendly. The Green papaya and mango salad and Tuna Kanilaw were so good. The Singkong goreng and Crab Khao Soi were simply delectable. Recommended the Short ribs kare kare to share the large plate. The tiramisu and dark chocolate dessert are so delicious.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with our daughter at this quaint restaurant in Durham.
We started with blistered shishito peppers and dumplings. Everything was flavorful and good portions for 3 of us to share.
We then shared half of a fried chicken with spicy honey sauce, korean short ribs and stir-fried vegetables. The chicken was crispy, juicy and sweet heat with the sauce. The short ribs were thin and cut with bone on one side. Good flavor and large portion. The vegetables were a perfect accompaniment to the meats. Excellent service and quiet atmosphere.

The food was exceptional, with each dish perfectly timed for a small plates experience. Any fusion of Asian flavors wins me over, and this did not disappoint. The Chive Pancakes were a delightful surprise—more chive than pancake, offering a refreshing break from the typical versions seen elsewhere. The Crab Khao Soi and Sisig were both outstanding, flawlessly executed in every way.
The decor was charming, though the front dining area felt a bit tight for seating, which is the only minor drawback.

I came yesterday, I’ll definitely be back! I had the following (Bikini Bottom, Peking Duck Lumpia Rolls and the Kalbi). The restaurant was vibrant and peaceful, I sat on the patio. Only thing I’d recommend is if a side came with the Kalbi, but other than that I experienced amazing service and had an amazing dinner.

It was first time at this restaurant and I must say I will be back. We came to partake in advertised special and we ordered that and more!!!!!! I must say our experience from the hostess to the kitchen staff was awesome. Our server Shaq was patient and answered all of our questions in addition to giving us some suggestions. I will be revisiting soon

My husband and I went there for our 11th anniversary. The atmosphere is great, a little too loud for us. Our server was excellent. She answered all menu questions and made good suggestions about what to order for our meal. The food was good but had no seasoning and there was no seasoning on the table either. We had to ask our server for some soy sauce. Our drinks were on the ok side. My husband’s beer wasn’t cold enough and my wine was over priced.

EDIT: We came back for dinner after our pleasant Valentine's Day meal. Our server Kristen was attentive and yet another wonderful dining experience. Definitely adding this restaurant to our list great Durham restaurants. For appetizer, we ordered the special dumplings (beef and scallions) and the potato hash. For entree, the pasta special (crab, scallops, and shrimp with chili garlic fettuccine) and the stir fry glass noodles. All the dishes are well seasoned and the flavor profiles are immaculate.
Came here for Valentine's Day dinner and enjoyed our experience. Our server Sean was wonderful. The menu is delicious (and they do rotate items according to my server). Food comes out whenever they are ready and are meant to be shared. It's on the "smaller" serving side so you might want to order more (or just wait until the food are all out if you're still hungry).
I definitely recommend the Kalbi and the Lychee Limeade mocktail. All in all it was a great experience and I can't wait to come back to try more of their menu items.
