Mystic Farm and Distillery started making small-batch, handmade Mystic Bourbon Liqueur by blending mature bourbon with wildflower honey and nine spices. Nearly a decade later, it's the first bourbon distillery in the Triangle since prohibition known for its award-winning, limited-release Broken Oak Bourbon. Mystic is farm-to-flask and the world’s largest solar-powered bourbon distillery. Located on a 22-acre site, visitors can visit the farm and fields, tour the distillery, learn about the distilling process and taste their products.

We enjoyed a distillery tour as a wedding anniversary treat. Your fee includes a cocktail, tour, and sampling all their product. We were impressed by the comprehensiveness of their production process (grains and well water from on-site), and the thoroughness of the tour.

such a great place. I am a bourbon fan so. I could be biased. yet, I've been to quite a few distilleries and this place has it going on. If you enjoy a quality pour and being around some great folks, you need to visit. And if you wish to experience a little more, take the bourbon blending class, it's a great experience for connoisseurs and novices alike. 🤘🤘

I was introduced to Heart of Mystic by a neighbor last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. Purchased a second bottle some time later at the local ABC store. We got back a little bit ago from their American Wildlife Refuge and Tour event today and it was totally worth the drive. An amazing facility, awesome birds from AWG, and loved being able to do a taste testing of their different bottles. Thanks, Mystic Distillery, for hosting such an amazing event. If anyone likes checking out distilleries and relaxing with some bourbon or cocktails, check this place out. What a wonderful experience!

Happy Mother's Day to me!! Not only did we find the best distillery in North Carolina and taste some amazing bourbon, we also got to jump in on a Bourbon & Chocolate Pairing Class! We were greeted with so much genuine friendliness and smiles we couldn't help but feel welcome! Along with the chocolate pairing we were treated to tastings of many of the spirits they are masterfully creating as well as an informative tour of the distillery process. The farm is beautiful with plenty of space to spread out, move around and explore. The event space is massive and perfect for any event you can imagine especially when you add in all the outdoor space! Although we tasted most all of the spirits, Broken Oak is hands down the best bourbon ever and should definitely be sipped by everyone! We're sharing our bottle with all who visit!

Great craft distillery! I went in right before close and was treated to a tasting of some great bourbons. The Uber driver that dropped me off didn't know this place even existed; I don't understand why. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and the grounds are great. Even if you're somewhat in the area, I would stop here and at least do a tasting.

The mystic farm experience can only be explained by attending an event. The chocolate and bourbon pairing class was top shelf. The information, presentation, chocolate, and whiskey all blend well into an unforgettable experience. Note: Bring a friend and a DD!!

The tour is a great experience! So much fun and you will learn a lot! Highly recommend. The staff is friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. The best whiskies are Double Oaked and Heart of Mystic. Clean bathrooms (not many options though) and wheelchair accessible.
