During my trip to North Carolina, I was told by a local downtown that I absolutely needed to try the cake at Nantucket Grill, and I’m so glad I did! Their cake selection is incredible, with so many delicious-looking options that it was hard to choose. I ended up going with the coconut vanilla cake, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The cake was light, fluffy, and perfectly moist, while the frosting had just the right amount of sweetness. It’s honestly some of the best cake I’ve had in a long time.
While I didn’t get a chance to try the food on this visit, I would come back just for the desserts alone. The quality and flavor of the cake were top-notch, and I can see why this place is considered a local staple.
If you’re in the area and have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend stopping by Nantucket Grill for their desserts. Based on my experience with the cake, I’m sure their food is also excellent. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in North Carolina Chapel Hill area.

Another great time here. The appetizers were good. I took my family from Washington DC and they enjoyed it especially the cake. We ate outside which I ordinarily don't do but I guess it have to try something different at lease once in your life.

As always, Nantucket never disappoints. My party did experience an extended wait, but once we were assigned a server, everything from the daily special to the menu favorites was delicious.

The menu had lots of options. The tomato bisque was good, the lobster tails were very good. The filet mignon was cooked properly but could use more seasoning - same with the lobster. The cake slices for dessert are incredible.

One of my favorite restaurants! The food is great but the real treat is the variety of beautiful layered cakes! Of course the strawberry shortcake is highly recommended but the salted caramel cake is definitely worth a try!

I had placed an online order for the half size strawberry short cake. Next day I go pick it up. The girl at the register was really nice and sweet (just like the cake)The presentation was so pretty and the cake itself was amazing. My mom had this cake before and she wanted a whole one for her birthday. Thanks guys!!!

We love the patio at the location on Fayetteville Road. It is quiet and green, away from the traffic. Their crab cakes are excellent, filled with crab rather than fillers. I had a Greek salad with a Crab cake on top and it was delicious! Service outside is always attentive, which is often not the case with outdoor dining.

Great food, great service, friendly folks. Prices are higher but excellent quality food. We enjoyed a spinach/pecan salad, fried cod sandwich, crab cake, and carrot cake.
