Very impressed with the food. We were a party of 18, and everyone seemed very pleased with their lunch choices. Service was kind and attentive. Great experience. Highly recommend!

Great food and drinks (especially the drinks)! Service was just okay, the waiter that took our order, later gave our food to the table next to us and then gave it to us after the other table had already touched the plates. The kitchen was busy, so I get it but it was just intriguing the same waiter who took our order gave our order to someone else.

I have a pretty picky diet and traveling can prove kind of difficult to find healthy food. That said, this is the best meal I have had in Durham all week! I got the wild mushroom and spinach salad, but had them cook the spinach, and added shrimp. Blake and the entire team were kind and accommodating, which really elevated my experience as well. The space is also beautiful, and has fast Wi-Fi so I was able to get some work done at the same time. I will absolutely be back, 10/10 recommend!

I was thoroughly disappointed. We started with a female server who was lovely, but then our server changed to a make server who was less than enthusiastic to be at work.
I ordered the Steak Benedict, and while my poached eggs were done well, both pieces of steak I received were inedible.
They were basically just gristle and fat. I kept looking fir the meat, but every bit if it I put in my mouth I had to spit out. It's really disappointing because you could clearly SEE that these were bad pieces of meat, but I was served them anyway. And my poached eggs, which is not an easy thing to do, were done quite well, so the fat that I was given steak that was inedible was really shocking. But, after bringing our food, our waiter did not once return to our table until he showed up with the bill, so there wasnt any opportunity for me to explain the situation to because of the lack of service.
It was really disappointing, and I wont be going back.

Great cafe with bright and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The food was excellent with a wide variety of choices that provides something for everyone. The meals are prepared to perfection with the best ingredients. The prices are very reasonable given the type of food served and the generous portions. Service was friendly and fast. Also has a great selection of beverage options if you just wanted to have coffee or tea.
Definitely make reservations !
We had Brunch before touring the museum, but honestly I'd go back just to eat at he cafe even if I didn't plan on seeing the rest of the museum.
Second visit with family from out of town was just as good as the first. If I were to state only one minor flaw on the second visit: two of our three Benedict meals were served with the egg yolks soft boiled rather than the poached texture that they should have been. I suspect they would have poached us replacements if we asked, but it wasn't significant enough to interrupt our meal for.
