I went to get Ollie’s for my dog. the place was nice, well stocked and clean. It wasn’t loud and the staff were friendly.

Had to run to Petco to try to exchange an incorrect door dash order. Without the receipt (or a number) Petco (doordasher didn't provide a receipt) them self was unable to do anything but Jules and her co-worker (I can not remember her name. I'm so sorry. Did absolutely everything they could to try to make it right.
For context. I ordered a 3 pack large adult MICE. the dasher said the store was out and Instead brought me one LARGE adult RAT! I did not even approve this "substitution" nor did the door dash mention that what I received was what was substituted (I have 3 juvenile ball pythons there was NO way any of them could eat this.)

Great place fir puppy supplies and other things for animals. Now as far as dog food not to much. They hardly ever have my dogs food or my cats litter.
I have to go somewhere else for those things. Plus I found out I can get my dogs food cheaper at another pet supplier.
But I do like all of the verity of animals accessories they have. Now petco have some of the best pet accessories I have seen.
They may not have cheaper dog food but thier accessories are pretty reasonable.

Excellent service and quick response. I did witness a person who claimed to work for Door Dash trying to pick up some orders. She had no identification and she began yelling that Petco was racist as she doxxed the store employees and customers with her cellphone. It was disturbing to everyone but the employees, even though they were clearly shaken, handled this as quietly and well mannered as they could. I did pick up some other items and would have shopped longer had this individual not been so disruptive and threatening.

In recent years we've been customers at a rival pet supply store -- however, recently I've come to PETCO for items of urgent importance -- like an inflatable collar for for our pitbull after surgery (already had a cone), food for our "adopted" Black & Yellow spider as cold weather reduced insects, and now (again for ailing pitbull) a probiotic. AS ALWAYS the staff at this store was impressive. In particular, several times Zack helped identify the perfect product for our needs and soon placed the item in my hands -- answering all questions I had. Zack and others at this store are examples of excellence that sets PETCO apart from competitors. Indeed, on this visit I learned that the store now carries the Purina food our dog needs but have been getting from your competitor store in Durham. From now on, I will be getting it at this PETCO on the Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. Thank You to higher management for hiring -- and retaining -- such quality staff.

I love petco but NOT the grooming service, only one person there, phones are ridiculous since no one ever picks up so I’m going to another store with easy reachable groomers…
