Off 9th St near the "Angel of Spring," you can find a cute little ice cream shop called Pincho Loco. Here, you can get native Latino flavors like tequila, tiger tail (vanilla, Mexican vanilla, and chocolate), guava, tamarind and more.
Hands down the best ice cream in Durham! Fantastic flavors, my personal favorites being banana pudding and graham cracker! They also have milkshakes and vegan flavors.
Down to earth atmosphere and great customer service.

Give Pincho Loco a try! Your taste buds won't regret it! As soon as you enter this lovely creamery, you're greeted with colorful pictures and trinkets from all over. They take pride in the ice cream and different frozen desserts that they make and offer. There's a wide array to try, from churros in bowls to banana sundaes to your classic single scoop. They do it all!

Oh my gosh! This is the best ice cream in Durham! It’s a hole in the wall, but you’ll be thrilled with the options. There’s something for everyone, including plenty of dairy-free choices. Everything is fresh and delicious. I had the churro sundae—so delightful! We also tried the brownie sundae, which was warm and decadent. Definitely going back!

Very friendly workers, helpful with samples, fun and wacky flavors, and some delicious ice cream. Had a scoop of rum raisin and one of coconut and they were both excellent.

Absolutely delicious ice cream and popsicles!! The eggnog and apple pie flavors for Christmas are outstanding!! The milk free coconut popsicles are a giant hit in our family. Prices are great as well!
