I have been getting a playa bowl for breakfast throughout my work week as much as I can for the last couple months. Adding a bowl as a staple in my diet has shifted my energy levels for the better. The quality of the food is great and gives me sustained energy. The variety of the menu and ability to mix and match the bases of the bowls gives endless combinations so I can keep things interesting while building a consistent breakfast routine that works great. Charlotte, Janet, and Genesis are extremely helpful and kind. They do an amazing job of creating a great customer experience and I always feel welcomed even when they see me so frequently. They have also shared all their favorite combinations of ingredients making sure I keep it fresh. I am really grateful to be able to start most of my days interacting with them. I highly recommend giving the bowls a try, they are delicious and filling, but I also am very confident you will be greeted with a smile and your food will be made with care and intention. Not every business can say that nowadays, and it goes a long way as a blessing to start your day! Thanks Playa Bowl 9th street team!

Where do I start? Playa Bowls are EVERYTHING! They are refreshing, delicious, fulfilling, gratifying, and a healthier option for a great meal or dessert. I can't stop spreading the word to anyone who will listen: family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and even other businesses :) I am genuinely a Playa Bowls fan and have to say it is the best Acai out there! When friends say, "Let's go out for lunch," I say, "I have the best place to visit, Playa Bowls!" On top of having the best Açaí Bowls and Smoothies, the atmosphere, the staff, and their customer service match the way their bowls taste – absolutely amazing!!!
I only wish Genesis would not have talked me into adding Nutella to one of my bowls; I’m addicted now!! (I love her!) :)
I drive to Playa Bowls one or two times a week, and I never get just one bowl!

I’d like to recognize Playa Bowls for their excellent customer service and fantastic menu offerings.
A few weeks ago, my coworker and I wanted to celebrate our manager, La'Vonne, for her one-year anniversary in our department. Knowing how much she loves Playa Bowls—and especially the bowls made by Genesis—we decided to surprise her.
When I called the store to find out her usual order, I learned that Genesis wouldn’t be in until later. But Blair, another employee, provided outstanding customer service by quickly contacting Genesis to get the details of La'Vonne’s favorite order. By the time I arrived, the bowl was perfectly prepared and ready to go!
La'Vonne’s reaction was priceless, and the surprise was a huge success! As a regular customer myself, I can say that Playa Bowls not only delivers delicious food but also goes the extra mile to make customers feel appreciated.

Love it here! We’ve made it a weekly tradition to come. My fiancé has tried a few different bowls and enjoyed them all, whereas I stick to my go to bowl and love it every time. We’ve also brought friends who now understand our obsession.

I went on Friday I like the vibe and the service. Every was fast and my smoothie was delicious, we got the açaí energy and the dragon berry bowl. The restroom was clean

Amazing selection of bowls. If you don't know what base you want they allow you to sample them. I got the coconut and mango base with strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, honey and coconut flakes. Soo yummy and filling!

5 stars across the board! I’ve thought about my Electric Mermaid bowl from Playa Bowls no less than 5x since going for the first time only 24 hours ago. It was delicious. Refreshing. Fresh. Cold. Healthy. All the good things. Eating it made me feel happy! The service was great too! If I lived closer to Playa Bowls then my pockets would definitely be in trouble. It’s a small spot but if it’s not busy then you can enjoy your bowl at a table while listening to their dope playlist. Can’t wait to go back.

I literally order the same thing every time since the grand opening date. My bowl is always refreshing and made with love. Everyone is sooo nice and the service is incredible.
