Downtown Durham has its first Canna Cafe. The bright, comfortable space is equal parts shop, bar and homey hangout offering hemp-infused products and community events. After building a following out of a small shop in Raleigh, the Durham location is an expansion of both the space and the experience offered. Here, you can shop packaged drinks, gummies and personal care products or order a drink from the bar, with or without an added hemp-derived infusion, and enjoy house-made baked goods. If you’re new to the hemp world and want to ease your way in with guided expertise, the helpful budtenders at Redhead Hemp are ready to share their knowledge and recommendations.

Such a lovely space! Great ambiance, decor, and events. They have arts and crafts night as well. It’s like your local coffee shop but for hemp products. Must try!

Redhead Hemp is one of my favorite small businesses to support in Durham. Every time I stop in, the staff is kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to help you find exactly what you need. Their product selection is incredibly consistent — high-quality edibles, oils, and wellness items that actually work and feel thoughtfully sourced. The store has a calm, welcoming vibe, and you can tell they put intention into how they educate customers without any pressure or upselling.

I live in Colorado and was just in Durham visiting my family. We all became OBSESSED with this place. At home we show our IDs a million times and take our weed and go. It’s so rigid. RH is an adorable cozy fun place to hang out, drink fun drinks, maybe play a game or do a craft, or just stare into the distance. They even carry some of the same brands we have in CO. It’s really special. NC’s backwards laws are really paying off in this case!

Vibes=immaculate. Staff was super knowledgable and helpful sharing all the info on all the things without trying to sell me on something which is EVERYTHING. Great place to kick back with a THC bevy and get some light work done. Love the cafe concept, way to go!!

My first friend in Durham happen to be Odie the dog who greets you sometimes whenever his human happens to be working.
After my warm welcome I met Emma and Logan and I’m not sure who made my wife and I drinks but they were so refreshing.
We played a game enjoyed our drinks and Odie brought his toy over.
Will definitely be back.

My mom and I stumbled upon here for her b'day. What a wonderful shop with great product! They even have a drink bar and lots of goodies to try. I almost felt like I was back in Amsterdam. We met the owner who was super sweet and gave Mom a goodie for her bday. I knew I loved this place when I walked in with an awesome vibe of plants and her sweet pup. I can't wait to go back!

Wonderful shop with a discreet locale! Spacious enough to allow for seating to chill and not feel cramped. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that help guide you to the product best suited to you. No pressure to hurry and find what you want or know what you want in advance. Highly recommended... and I certainly HAVE!
