Best pizza I’ve ever had, my wife and I live in another state and order from Ricky’s every time we have to come to duke for an appointment. We have never had a bad experience and they really get the memo when you order extra ingredients.

I wanted to give these guys a try and placed an order through Door Dash. Order showed up late, cold and was missing half of the ingredients I had thought was going to be on the pizza. Come to find out, Door Dash likes to use AI for descriptors, and the way my order was described, it made it sound like the pizza came standard with pepperoni and cheese already. Nope. If you want it on the pizza, you need to add it to the pie. Called Door Dash about this, and they were not at all helpful. So I called Ricky's directly, and while they didn't have to, they went above and beyond to make this right. The manager and staff were extremely kind and turned an awful experience with a 3rd party vendor into an experience that has made me a fan of this pizza for as long as I live. This is some of the best pizza I've had in a long time, and I will be back to support them again.

Finally I have found New York pizza in this area!! After living in NY area for several years, I got accustomed to good NY pizza and have been searching for it since moving to NC. The owner even has a Brooklyn accent so I knew it was authentic pizza. Good crust, good sauce, right amount of cheese, fresh toppings, cooked correctly. Very happy.

Absolutely fantastic! That was the best buffalo chicken pizza I've had in years. Manager was cool to speak with as well and he is correct, it will not be the last time I come to eat here.

This is the best pizza in the area, I’m sorry, but if you’re ordering from Domino’s, Mellow Mushroom, or any franchise pizza, you don’t know what real good pizza is like. These guys know how to make really amazing pizza, makes all order pizza places look bad. I recommend the regular cheese, the margarita, and pepperoni and bacon pizza. Plus these guys are super friendly and know how to treat a customer. Grateful to have them in the area!

This place was awesome. I’m kind of a pizza snob and it seems like it’s hard to get good pizza around here, so I didn’t have high hopes, but it was perfect and brought me right back home to NJ.

I have always found the dough to be rather tasteless, unlike Randy’s. But now they are skimping on the dough and it’s really limp. No amount of reheating can make it crisp except at the edge.

I'm a native New Yorker and a pizza snob. I've had all of the "New York style" pizza in the area. Randy's is good. Devil's is inconsistent. Most others absolutely suck. Ricky's is great. It's the real deal. I keep going back, and it's almost always excellent.
Every now and then they even deliver that oil-dripping-on-the-hand foldable slice -- and it's exactly like being back home. I can't recommend it enough.
Hutchin's Garage is awesome if you want something fancy and fun. But if you want a New York style pizza -- Ricky's is the place.
I love it. I get a pie with anchovies all the time. They don't even deliver to my side of Roxboro but I'll drive to pick this up, because it's the best in Durham. No competition.

Wish I had tried it sooner! Hands down the best pizza I have tried. The fried Zucchini with HOMEMADE RANCH was really good. Ricky is very polite and respectful checks on u to make sure all Is good don't find that any more! Will be back again soon.
