I have fallen in love with sewing and it’s all thanks to Markea and Sew Joyful Teaching! Markea has been the perfect instructor for a beginner like me. She has the perfect balance of guidance and encouragement and creates a wonderful learning environment. I have taken three courses with her, and I look forward to taking more in the future. Sew Joyful Teaching is THE place to learn how to sew. The instructor is so patient and kind with people of all abilities and experience levels. She's quick to lend aid and even quicker to provide positive feedback and well - Joy! I've never sewn with a machine before and she took me from zero experience to finishing projects in 90 minutes! It's safe to say I'll be taking more classes here in the future. Thank you for teaching me!

I had an amazing time at sew joyful! The teacher was funny, knowledgeable and made something new for me easy to understand. I started with something simple( pillow) but they’re more advanced classes as well! I hope to eventually make a sweatshirt one day as she teaches me more over time.

Markea is a wonderful instructor! Very straightforward and is an excellent resource for absolute beginners. The machines are also pretty user friendly and there is plenty of space to work and all the tools we need to work on our assigned project. It’s a really great environment to work and her classes are so fun!

I signed my mom up for a in house beginner sewing lesson with Sew Joyful Teachings and it was such a great experience. Markea was very patient and kind with her teachings.
