The food is so good. The portions are ample. The fish is fresh, hot and crispy. The fries are well seasoned and the slaw is as well. The Shack is clean and functional...chairs and tables. The staff is personable and helpful. I am always satisfied with my purchase.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of this Black-owned business, Mavis and Derrick. The food, service, and music were the perfect combination!! Mavis, the general manager, and the cashier made me feel welcome and ensured our order was correct. I will definitely eat here again and highly recommend Skrimp Shack for seafood!!

Yall when I tell this was not a one time occurrence and I dragged my dad with me!
Golden flaky catfish I’ve been searching years for. In all honesty it’s extremely hard to find a good seafood restaurant with this level of quality and consistency, everything on the menu is worth every penny and the trip out there. The GM is an amazing friendly guy as well and helped me with my first time there. If you are a banana pudding lover like myself then let me put you on! The first bite will take you to heaven and back! You know it’s good when you flipping ya spoon upside down for the extra flavor😂 please consider this place for your next lunch/ dinner outing bring a friend you will not be disappointed. Not to mention the portions are insane!! Much love

From the moment we walked in the hospitality was so warming! They helped as through the menu after we let them know it was our first time and boy was I happy with what I bought! I got a shack pack to get a little taste of everything and that was the perfect decision. I then got a crab cake and when i opened it up i was amazed at the flavor it packed!

I always forget to take pictures of my food especially when it's as good as the food was today, so the pictures are what's left, which is nothing because we devoured most of it.
The cooks THREW DOWN in that kitchen. The food was made with love and passion and that's hard to find in some places. I tried the softshell crabzilla sandwhich and it was so good. The batter was crispy and the crab was succulent.
The employees were so personable and nice. Derek that took our order explained the menu to us and recommended a couple of items as it was our first time here and made sure we were informed on deals and specials before we made a decision. He was polite and patient with us.
As we were eating Mavis (owner) came out and asked us how our meal was and offered ud a complimentary banana pudding. She then got us refills so we could continue eating and didn't have to get up.
We got the Crabzilla Sandwhich, Skrimo Basket, Haddock and Skrimp Basket, Scallop Tacos, and Banana Pudding. Our meal came in at about $70 to feed 3 people which imo is a good price for seafood as it tends to be a little more on the expensive side.
Overall this was a great experience at a great restaurant that we will 100% be back to eat at.

Best fried scallops around! The fish sandwich is HUGE and delicious! Very clean….great music….and the staff was friendly. Great prices for hand battered fresh seafood! We can’t wait to go back

We moved two hours away but came back for lunch today as we passed through.
Same great fish, great okra. I had the Big Cat sandwich combo, Daughter had a shrimp poboy. Wife had catfish plate. All terrific. Came to check on us a couple of times. We will come back again when we are in town.
