We had a wonderful 3-night, 4-day stay at SpringHill Suites Durham Chapel Hill! The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing, and the complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Another bonus was the convenient location—there are plenty of shopping stores and restaurants just a block away. We definitely plan to stay here again! Highly recommend—5 stars!

Great and friendly staff, clean hotel and an awesome location. The only downside was the room lay out. We were in a double bedroom with a living area. There are two bathrooms, one with a toilet, one with the shower. While having them separate is nice when you're sharing a room with a couple of people, the toilet bathroom is across from one bed and the shower bathroom is across from the other-- the doors for both are opaque frosted glass meaning that if anyone gets up in the night, closes the door and turns on the light, it feels like the whole room is lit up. Most hotels have the bathroom toward the door entering the room-- these bathrooms were right by the beds and it just wasn't great functionally. Other than that, great place to stay.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times this year and it’s been very pleasant and predictable. Check in process was basic and impersonal. No mention of my return/previous stay or membership level as I’ve experienced with other Marriott hotels.
Room was clean and comfortable as expected. Service was good, no complaints on speed or basic efficiency. Location of hotel is a big plus as it’s close to the interstate, food, and shopping.
Breakfast was clean and well stocked and maintained.

So far every Marriott I've been to has been an excellent stay! Friendly staff, free breakfast and real food, indoor pool and jacuzzi, small bar, 24 hr fitness area. Love it! Oh and let me not forget guest laundry so no need to search for a laundromat

Have stayed here many times as I travel here frequently for Duke Hospital. Last night there was an issue with the reservation I had made through a 3rd party patient network. Tony quickly fixed the issue and got us into our room with ease. He also recognized me as I entered the building and greeted me with "Welcome Back"
Considering the number of guests he sees and the limited interaction we have when I check in, I felt appreciated and seen by his kind greeting. He is a wonderful employee and I hope management knows the impact he makes.

Service - 100!!! I was greeted with such warmth and kindness, I felt like a family member being welcomed home. Shoutout to Tony for excellent customer service and for saving me from utter peril by loaning me a phone charger for the night.
Now to the room - if I wasn't so exhausted, I would've asked to move. Although my room is immaculately clean, it has a stench that my entire can of deodorant can't cover! ((I forgot my Lysol this time)). But, this smell.....Lysol wouldn't be able to help. It smells like a wet dog. Or like the room had flooded previously and the carpet soured. It pains me to write this because I can tell that housekeeping cleaned the room, it just needs to be fumigated. I'm going to try my best to sleep through it.

The staff was very friendly. The area felt safe. The free continental breakfast had good options including waffles, eggs, cereal, juice, bagels, oatmeal, potatoes, etc. The lounge area was comfortable and nice.
I had a suite that included a microwave and mini fridge. The room was divided by a working area. There was a small closet. The bathroom was divided into two rooms, a toilet room and a shower room. The shower was a walk-in shower. The bed was a little hard but bedding seems to be really subjective.
I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area and recommend it to others

Had a quick one-night trip here. Very clean hotel and room with recent updates. Room was spacious and everything needed was there. Staff was friendly and bed was very comfortable. I loved the location as it's right near the interstate and a nice area of town with good restaurants right nearby. Breakfast was great in the morning, definitely one of the best I've had as far as the selection and overall presentation of everything. The only critique I have is there was a slight musty smell to the room and the chlorine/bleach (whatever they use) in the hot tub was WAY too strong. Hours later, and after a shower, I can still smell it. Other than that, though, a great stay. Would definitely recommend.
