Located in the American Tobacco Campus, State of Golf opened in June 2024. With three indoor golf simulators available for booking, State of Golf merges an indoor golf experience with entertainment. The world-class simulators also allow you to play a wide range of sports and games in addition to golf. There is also a full bar in the facility, creating a genuinely casual, social atmosphere.

We hosted a bachelorette party at State of Golf, and it was the perfect venue! Josh, Brandon, and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We loved that we could bring in our own food, and it was nice to have a large selection of drink options at the bar. Our group had fun playing all of the simulator games and we had plenty of space to just mingle and hang out as well. Highly recommend State of Golf if you are looking for a fun group outing!

Lucky for me this place is right next door to where I work. I have played here a couple of times now and had great experiences both times, with and without a group. The system is great for both options whether I want to practice on my own and see how the club head is hitting the ball, or play with some friends and pretend like we are playing Pebble Beach or Torrey Pines. There is a good selection of beers on draft, a full bar as well, and the staff is all very friendly and helpful.

We were fortunate enough to bring our young people from First Tee - Triangle out to the facility! It was so awesome they had the chance to experience an indoor facility with golf AND other sports during the summer heat! Our students said “This is the greatest golf place I’ve ever been to”.

With the summer temperatures in the high 90’s, some friends and I decided to give State of Golf a try and we were not disappointed.
Not only were we able to golf in a comfortable temperatures but also had access to the bar and restrooms at any time. You can walk right up to the bar and grab a drink whenever but we didn’t even have to do that because the bartender, Josh, was attentive and made sure we always had what we needed.
I really enjoyed being able to use the simulators. I’ve had some issues and experienced lagging with some simulators in the past but we didn’t have one issue between the four of us at SOG. We all felt our shots were accurate and responsive.
The coolest part for me was the video playback. After each swing you are shown how your club is striking the ball in slow motion. This provides immediate feedback on how you are making contact with the ball after you hit. This helped me make those small adjustments to my club face mid-round for better ball striking.
Overall - the bar, the service, environment, and simulators were fantastic. We had a great experience and I highly recommend a visit. We’re excited to go back!

Fun place! nice simulator tech, and good bar selection. Very friendly and welcoming staff. You don’t have to be a serious golfer to have fun. Kids can play baseball & soccer & other simulation games.
