Update: Target customer service reached out to try and find a solution (which I didn't respond to, but appreciate the gesture.) The issues still persist off and on, but a business that is willing to take care of customers deserves more than 1 star in my opinion. If we find a few consistent weeks with good stocking then I'll update again.
Original Post:
We’ve been going to this Target for over a year, and have been disappointed the last six months. Every time we go, at least 3-4 things we want are out of stock. Shelves are constantly empty. And seeing the entire produce section “missing” with no explanation to customers today was frustrating. Time for yet another trip to Harris Teeter……

FITTING ROOM WARNING:
I am not here to slam Target, but I had a very traumatic experience. I was in the last stall in their fitting room area trying on several bras. As I was trying on my last bra I happened to look up and see a security camera staring straight back at me. Obviously I immediately threw my clothes on and had a mild panic attack. I was so disturbed I went to the front and asked to speak with a manager or HR. The cashier pointed out the man I should speak with and I went over to him. I explained what I had experienced and my distress over a security camera being able to see directly into the fitting room stall. He told me that is was a "dummy camera". But he was also kind of taken aback and quick to say that so I was not sure if he was telling the truth or not. He said that it is there to keep people from shop lifting. I think that is a terrible excuse and a complete violation of privacy. I told him that the camera being able to see into a fitting room seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen and he just shrugged me off. Even if it is a "dummy" camera, they should have a sign up or a notice letting people know that their are cameras observing the fitting rooms. This felt like a complete violation of privacy. Honestly with everything that has gone down with Target over the past few years, I think I will avoid shopping there all together.

All the jeans were unfolded and strewn all over the place and in no particular order. It was almost impossible to find anything in my size. Then, the fitting rooms were closed and roped off, so I couldn't try anything on in there. Luckily I was wearing a dress, so I just stood between two racks near the fitting rooms and tried the pants on right there. I was able to find one pair in my size. The leggings in the activewear section were in the same condition. I looked through everything as best as I could and I was only able to find one pair in a size large that wasn't black or flared at the bottom. This is the first time I have been in any Target that was in the level of disarray.

Target located in Renaissance Village shopping Center at 8210 Renaissance Pkwy, Durham, NC 27713 is a very nicely laid out Target with a quite large Grocery store section with dairy a plenty. The store was clean and well organized. Didn’t seem to me to be as much of a maze as some targets are where it’s really easy to get disoriented due to the walls blocking areas from each other.
A big issue I have with them though is only having a single in person register open combined with a 10 item max self checkout limit.
I don’t use self checkout as it’s not my job to check myself out, and it costs them employees!!! Lost a star for that
