The Glass Jug Beer Lab has been my neighborhood brew place for going on 10 years now. Great staff, good beer and a great community asset. I'm from the Asheville area and vibe at RTP location has always reminded me of the Asheville breweries.

Great people and a great selection. They have many beers, and even seltzers, wine, and ciders. Multiple gluten free options, mostly cider and seltzer. There's even a CBD drink selection and a non-alcoholic section. Everyone is friendly. The indoor seating can get a little busy sometimes, but there's lots of outdoor seating as well. If you bring your dog to sit outside, make sure your dog is well behaved and on a leash because there are a lot of dogs here. I suggest bringing a blanket for your dog to lay on.

I can’t believe I haven’t left a review here before. Been going here since I moved to Durham in 2020 and ordered beers to go from them almost weekly. When they opened back up from the pandemic, it became my go-to Friday afternoon spot. Their beer is great, their bottle shop is expansive, the employees are helpful and friendly, the vibes are great, especially since the upgrades in the beer garden. We love the live music and food truck nights in the beer garden. Oh, and can’t forget the amazing advent calendar every December. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Love the Glass Jug RTP brewery and bottle shop! It's an eclectic experience with separate indoor and outdoor spaces with many fun beers and activities. Their in-house brews are very tasty including Bunsen, and Chemistree which is a sesasoal favorite. There are two annual must-do events and purchases: the Girl Scout Cookie pairing, and the Beer Advent Calendar. Go here and you will be delighted.
