Designed by renowned golf course architect, George Cobb, construction started on the course in 1957. The stunning 18-hole layout, with four sets of tees, is challenging and enjoyable for all players, scratch to novice.

This club is the absolute best you will find in Durham! Great Golf, Family atmosphere with events year round. Pool open mid may till mid September, and even Clay Tennis Courts.

I don't like $59 for golf, but thr course was a great experience. Good staff. Good maintenance. Quirky design. Call it cartoonist, quirky, stupid...whatever but I love it. An island tree surrounded by sand in left fairway you can fly over and cut corner on 9. Another short tree to fly over in fairway on 10. 2 shots over water that have fountains you fly over. A set of 5 bunkers left fairway if you fly 260 you can cut corner. Absolutely love that kind of stuff. Finally..GPS carts that don't make you reverse out. When you enter an area you get a message but cart doesn't stop and make you reverse. I will definetly play here again if I'm in the area.

The course was in good shape. Would have hoped the pace of play would have been better mid-week mid-day, but the conditions and value were worth it.
