Portions were generous. Samosas were a bit spicy for me but they tailored the spicy level for everything else which was great. The giant naan was amazing. Also recommend the butter chicken. Charlie, our server, was great.

Me and my friend ran into this restaurant after looking for somewhere new to eat. James our server walked us through the menu pinpointing exactly what we were looking for and we enjoyed a very satisfying experience.
Towards the end of our visit we had a chance to meet the Owner Jas. Delightfully pleasant conversation about his love for connecting community with his urban Punjabi food style!

I recently visited Urban Turban in Durham, NC, and tried their Veg Platter. Let me just say, it was absolutely fantastic! The variety and quality of the dishes on the platter were beyond impressive. Each item was seasoned to perfection, showcasing authentic flavors that truly stood out. The portions were generous, making it a great value for the price.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience. If you’re a fan of vegetarian dishes or just love exploring different flavors, the Veg Platter at Urban Turban is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Everything was just great. My friend and I stopped for dinner tonight and my only complaint is that everything was so good we ate too much lol. We had spicy Indian mojitos from the bar - very tasty! We ordered the hara bhara kabab and chicken chapli kabab for appetizers. Then we had Punjabi chicken curry and chicken saag wala. And an order of garlic naan of course. Oh and delicious mango lassi after the meal. So much food. And so good. Staff was great. Raj was our server and helped answer questions and made good recommendations. And the decor was so nice. Comfortable and cute seating and table arrangements. Just a great experience.

Soooo delicious. I am so glad to have found this spot! We ordered the butter chicken (incredible), palak paneer (also incredible), and garlic naan (an absolute must). Our waiter Charlie was kind and attentive and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere and decor is really pleasing. Plus a great kids menu for families! The chai tea and mango lassi were just the cherry on top 😊 can’t wait to be back soon!!

Just had dinner at Urban Turban and had an awesome experience. Service here is top notch , very friendly , professional and efficient. Our server Raj was absolutely amazing! Very polite & very well spoken.
The food is delicious! I highly recommend this place . We tried the chicken chapli kabab , perfectly cooked moist and flavorful Goni Manchurian, again very tasty and flavorful had a nice crunch
Their Food presentation is also very good . We eat with our eyes first .
My son loved the chicken makhani . I ordered tawa chicken biryani , chicken cooked perfectly. All dishes we ordered we enjoyed and the kulfi was yumm 😋😋
It was really nice talking to the owner Jasjeet and hearing about all the exciting things he has planned for his restaurant. We wish him all the best !

Good mix of classic Indian dishes, and more American styled dishes. They can make anything spicy, or mild.
Menu is easy to navigate, and staff is eager to explain it to you.
Nice, clean aesthetic, with very clean restrooms.
Portions are good for 1 person. I was full, and didn't need a to-go bag.
A good, neighborhood Indian spot.

This place is delicious!!!!! This is the best Indian food I have had around the Raleigh/Durham area. You will not be disappointed. The food is hot. Great portions great flavor. Wowwww. I will definitely come back here if I am in the area. Just one thing. If you can just add something in the front to make the restaurant stand out. Maybe an extra sign with lights or a string of light bulbs.. you would attract more people. Especially at night. We thought the restaurant was closed until we walked up to it. Overall. Delicious. No regrets. Staff is nice. The seating is amazing.
