West End Wine Bar is a lounge-style bar with an upstairs mezzanine and outdoor patio tucked away between downtown's city center and the Brightleaf District, featuring one of the area's largest wine-by-the-glass selections. West End Billiards, just next door, offers lots of entertainment with TVs, pool tables, bocce and more in an industrial, brick-lined space.

West End Wine is the place to be now and I am loving the new management!!! Incredible wine selection and I have loved all of the food apps I have tried! Mave is just the best! Make sure to check out the new events they have going on weekly, super fun.

The bartender tonight was J’uan, and I’m glad I popped in. His service was impeccable. He created and served drinks with a smile. He was personable, and created a vibe that made me want to stay and have another. What a great addition to the eclectic vibe of downtown Durham. It’s become a place to experience. Breeze, Karen, Mave and Alison provide a vibe that’s memorable and a must to share with friends! Before or after a show at the DPAC, New West End provides a daily vibe that will keep you coming back for more. Love sipping on an after work crafted cocktail or hanging on a weekend with the DJ, a week day karaoke or a possible weekend Brazilian flair, it’s a must to try for yourself.

Under new ownership! A solid wine selection, generous pours and a great food menu. Right next to Amtrak; any time I'm picking someone up I stop here.

This place has a relaxed vibe and an well rounded wine list. We enjoyed a cocktail, then a glass of wine, paired with there delicious (substantial) hummus flatbread. Oh, and a little insider tip: if you spot the white negroni on the menu, trust me, get it!

Just moved to Durham and loved the whole vibe of this place. Very relaxing yet upscale, the cocktails were prepared well and the service was astounding!
