Pierce Freelon’s Coco-Fro astronaut ice-cream in our gift shop (and a chance to talk to the creator himself)
Special Storytimes with community partners throughout the day!
A STEAM-infused Lab experience and dance performances with Purpose Learning Lab, followed by a science demo by Ava the STEM Princess
Learning through play with DCL’s new Techies4Tomorrow game, and NCCU’s science board game

This event is on Durham Community Day. On Durham Community Days, Durham County residents get in free with current proof of residence. All adults must have Durham residency to get in free; each adult can bring up to five children.
