First Thursday Improv Comedy Show
Improv team Stolen Identity hosts a free night of improvised comedy and laughs at Succotash Southern & Creole Kitchen in Durham.
Improvised comedy (improv) is a form of theater in which nothing is planned or scripted. Everything is spontaneously happening in real time and every show is completely different based on audience suggestions!
Visit every first Thursday of the month at 7pm for an hour of laughs hosted by Stolen Identity and featuring improv teams from around the Triangle.
Stolen Identity has been performing together since October 2022. A long-form improv team from Durham, NC, its members are comprised primarily of members of the LGBTQ community. They can also be seen performing around the Triangle. Follow them on Instagram at @stolen_identity_improv
No entry fee required for the show. During the show they collect donations for the LGBT Center of Durham with our famous Bowler Hat of Generosity, so bring some cash if you'd like to donate. Delicious food and drinks are available for purchase during the show.
After the performance, there will be a jam. What's a jam, you say? After the performances, audience members and performers are invited to participate on stage in an improv jam. No experience necessary! Practice your improv skills or try it out for the first time in a supportive environment. No experience necessary! Just a willingness to have fun!
