Historian Ernest Dollar shares stories of African American men and women's first moments of freedom and the powerful reactions to slavery's collapse.
Ernest A. Dollar Jr., currently serving as the director of museums for the City of Raleigh Museum, overseeing the City of Raleigh Museum, Dr. M. T. Pope House Museum, and the John P. 'Top' Greene African American Cultural Center, will share stories on the 15th that examine personal connections to emancipation and the role in which our history affects those narratives.
