Latin American Film Festival Screenings

This documentary, part two of “Bulls and Saints”, examines Eliceo and Alan Sánchez (uncle and nephew), border cowboys, and Mexican bull riders. Their lives are forever changed when Eliceo crosses the border to ride El Dólar, a ferocious legendary bull. “The Disobedient One” is a hybrid documentary featuring the work and voice of migrant painter Cornelio Campos. Campos shares this as an epic story (as an Indigenous myth) exploring storytelling’s healing powers.
