Liberty Arts Pop-Up: We Love Durham!

Join Liberty Arts for a night of artmaking, poetry, hearts and beats in Durham Central Park! Everyone is invited to celebrate creativity, community and connection. Find out how much we heart Durham through love in art!

The party starts at the BC Remedy / Measurement Inc. Building, 423 Morris St., in what will hopefully be the new home for Liberty Arts, a community arts education center.

Express Your Love: Learn to draw a picture of Major the Bull and craft your own love letter to Durham. (Love Durham, by Discover Durham in partnership with Downtown Durham, Inc., encourages us to show our Durham pride out loud.

Music: DJ MARRS will spin a mix of classic and modern tracks for a good, lovin’ vibe.

Art Exhibition: Solo show featuring the fine jewelry and metalwork of Liberty Arts member Heather Pinnix.

Scratch Block Workshop: Carve designs into blocks of resin-bonded sand. An hour later, watch your creation become a work of art during an aluminum pour in the Liberty Arts Foundry. $100 per block. Reservation required. Sign up now!
