Meet the Heroes of Black History

Meet the Heroes is an annual interactive Black History Event that lives on through the engagement of parents, educators and creatives throughout the Triangle. Meet the Heroes is meant to inspire youth to learn and be proud of the accomplishments of Black men and women throughout history. Each year a different set of Heroes are portrayed by actors with a dedicated area for activities that children can participate in. Kids find inspiration through the words of the heroes and their own creativity.

This year is all about transportation. Bubba Wallace, Richard Smalls, Henry McCoy, The Tuskegee Airman, and Bessie Coleman.
