Movie Loft presents "Dillinger"

Join Movie Loft in October for the latest installment of the 2024 screening series The Harry Dean Stanton Appreciation Society, featuring some lesser-encountered movies that included the one and only HDS!

The incomparable Warren Oates stars as Dillinger, on a bank robbing gambol across the Midwest with his motley crew of toughs (including Harry Dean Stanton as one Homer Van Meter!), while G-man Melvin Purvis (Ben Johnson) is in hot pursuit. Also along for the chase and plentiful gunfire in this early directorial effort from John Milius (‘Red Dawn’, ‘Conan the Barbarian’, etc.) are Michelle Phillips, Cloris Leachman, and Richard Dreyfuss (as Baby Face Nelson, no less)! And, J. Edgar Hoover hated it, all the more reason to watch this telling of “The Best Damn Bank Robber in the World!”
