Movie Loft presents “Love is the Devil”

Movie Loft begins 2025 with a garish, stylish and surreal swirl into the sex, drugs and art maelstrom of London in the ‘60s, Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon. From director John Maybury comes this 1998 bio-drama about the turbulent relationship between Bacon (Sir Derek Jacobi) and his lover George Dyer (Daniel Craig).

Also featuring Tilda Swinton, Anne Lambton, Adrian Scarborough and a score by Ryuichi Sakamoto! Come for see for yourselves that “There is no beauty without the wound”.
