Many of you need no introduction to the handmade one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry created by Kayte Price of Smiling Elephant! Kayte makes pieces in sterling, gold-filled and the occasional found treasure. All reasonably priced and unique.

Durham artist Beth Palmer has been creating contemporary mixed media art that brings beauty and whimsy to our lives for over 2 decades. She’s also the 2023-24 NC Art Educator of the Year, Emeritus Division and a Change Maker for Clinician Well-Being for the National Academy of Medicine. She cares deeply for teachers and healthcare providers. She’s working on several new series, featuring raw linen and vibrant reds, to complement her existing body of work that now includes home decor pillows and a new Beth Palmer Studio line of note cards too.

Rumi Takahashi Fish crafts original, one-of-a-kind articles that blend the timeless elegance of Japanese patterns with modern functionality. She is creating a niche, becoming known for her exquisite personal items like purses and wallets that feature vibrant Japanese designs. Rumi meticulously selects high-quality fabrics, often incorporating traditional motifs such as cherry blossoms, cranes, and intricate geometric patterns, to create beautiful and striking pieces.
