American Tobacco Campus, or ATC, is a revitalized historic campus featuring creative office space, restaurants, shopping, and more.

Birthed from the American Tobacco Company, one of the first companies included in the Dow International Average in 1896. It was originally formed as a merger of tobacco companies, including Lucky Strike and Pall Mall. This 1-million-square-foot campus has been revitalized to include a courtyard, a man-made waterway, the iconic Lucky Strike smokestack, creative office space, restaurants, shopping and more.

Awesome historical industrial buildings re-purpose into work and entertainment centers. The industrial bays are converted into restaurants, entertainment venues and work center.

A must see while you are in Durham. Wonderful history and artifacts. Whereas most towns scrap old buildings, the refurbishing here is impressive. Bring your pet(s) they can wander inside the immense courtyard while you dine and take in the sites.

I absolutely loved this campus and the way the old buildings are being used for offices and retail! The architecture is amazing. And all the old school advertising makes me want to smoke a cigarette (something I’ve never actually done). I stopped by after the an amazing experience at a Durham Bulls game.

I am obsessed with this location! The water feature throughout is so peaceful and serene. Landscaping is beautiful, thanks to the Nature Conservancy. Repurposing this factory into something functional and turning it into a destination was genius. Being across the street from the Durham Bulls Stadium makes this area a must see in Durham.

This place is very well kept and nice. We just stroll around during the day on Monday after mother's day. It was quiet and nice. The whole complex is very historical, unfortunately we had a short time to visit and learn. We enjoyed the man-made river, and the waterfalls in front of the YMCA. The water tower and the chimney with Lucky Strike word reminded us this place used to be a tobacco company campus. There were many restaurants, as we were there on Monday, most of them were closed. If we ever go back to Durham, we definitely want to check up on these restaurants and the scene during the night.

This is such a beautiful slice of history! They have really created an atmosphere that is inviting and friendly. Lots of restaurants and food options as well as live music. And there's no dearth for parking! It's definitely worth spending a few hours in the evening during the warmer months.

Durham bulls stadium is very nice and clean, parking is not that far of a walk. We went for the winter wonderland. It was really nice and to too crowded. As always it's fun times here.
