- Durham is founded on innovation and expertise. We are home to Research Triangle Park (RTP), which houses hundreds of life science companies, technology firms, startups and nonprofits. We’re also the proud home of Duke University, a Tier-1 research university.
- Our lodging properties are primarily concentrated in three distinct regions of the city: Downtown, near Duke University, and in South Durham near RTP and RDU airport. These clusters each provide versatile group environments–from educational to cultural hubs–making it easy to choose the context that best suits the needs of your audience. - Our destination offers two conference centers, each around 30,000 sq. ft. The Sheraton-Imperial is home to one of the centers and doubles as our largest lodging property at 331 rooms.
